    Abstract

    ABSTRAK

    Penelitian ini berjudul “ANALISIS KOMPOSISI MUSIK IND LINE KARYA JIM SNIDERO”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana melodi dan teknik penjarian serta teknik tiupan saxophone pada komposisi musik IND Line. Untuk menjawab semua pertanyaan penelitian, maka dilakukan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode deskriptif analisis dengan paradigma kualitatif. Data-data diperoleh melalui studi literatur berupa partitur dan buku yang terkait, juga dengan pengumpulan dokumentasi audio. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian, memahami melodi dan memahami teknik penjarian serta tiupan dalam permainan saxophone merupakan hal yang penting untuk dapat mengenali dan memainkan karya dengan benar sesuai dengan partitur yang tersedia.

    ABSTRACT

    This study is entitled "ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOSITION OF IND LINE MUSIC by JIM SNIDERO". This study aims to find out how melodies, saxophone fingering technique and saxophone blowing technique on IND Line music compositions. This research uses descriptive method of analysis with a qualitative paradigm. The data obtained through literature studies in the form of scores and related books, also by gathering audio documentation. Based on the research findings, understanding melodies and understanding the techniques of fingering and blowing in saxophone are important to be able to recognize and play the work correctly in accordance with the scores available.
