Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi belajar seni anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar seni anak melalui Kegiatan Finger Painting Pada Media Layang – layang pada kelompok A TK Negri Centeh Kota Bandung tahun ajaran 2017 – 2018. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai pengaruh Kegiatan Finger Painting Pada Media Layang – Layang Terhadap motivasi belajar seni anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre – Eksperiment dengan desain penelitian one group design pre-test post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi motivasi belajar anak usia dini dengan reliabilitas tinggi sebesar 0,61 serta 6 butir pernyataan validitas tinggi, dan satu butir validitas sedang. Hasil penelitian penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan Finger Painting Pada Media Layang – Layang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar seni anak. Dengan mengambil taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 diperoleh taraf signifikansi (2- Tailed) sebesar 0,000. Karena 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 maka H₀ ditolak yang artinya terdapat perbedaan rata – rata motivasi yang signifikan antara sebelum diterapkan dan setelah diterapkan Kegiatan Finger Painting Pada Media Layang – Layang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan Finger Painting Pada Media Layang – Layang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar seni anak usia dini sehingga dapat menjadi referensi kegiatan pembelajaran untuk diterapkan oleh guru di kelas. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, hendaknya dapat meneliti kembali permasalahan yang ada dengan kegiatan, strategi, model, media serta menggunakan metodologi penelitian yang berbeda khususnya dalam aspek motivasi belajar seni anak usia dini, sehingga dapat menjadi masukan dalam mengoptimalkan pendidikan anak usia dini.---- This research is conducted with the background of the lack of Art learning motivation in early childhood. This research is designed to improve children's art learning motivation through Finger Painting Activity on Kite Media on Group A of Centeh National Kindergarten Bandung in the academic year of 2017 - 2018. This research aims at obtaining an overview of the effect of Finger Painting Activity on Kite Media toward the motivation of studying on children. This research employs pre-experimental method with one group design pre-test post-testresearch design. The instrument used is the guidance of early childhood motivation observation with high reliability of 0.61 and 6 items of high validity statement, and one item of moderate validity.The result of the research shows that Finger Painting Activity on Kite Media significantly influences the art learning motivation of children. By taking the significance level α = 0,05, it is obtained the significance level (2- Tailed) of 0.000. Because 0.000 is less than 0.05 then H₀ is rejected which means there is the difference of mean of significant motivation between before and after Finger Painting Activity on Kite Media is applied. It can be concluded that Finger Painting Activity on Kite Media has an effect on to early childhood art learning motivation so as it can be a reference of learning activity to be applied by teachersin class. For future researchers, it should be able to re-examine the existing problems with activity, strategy, model, media and different use of research methodologies particularly in the aspect of early childhood motivation, so it can be an input in optimizing early childhood education.
