Abstract
Rendahnya kemampuan analisis siswa di SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya melatar belakangi pelaksanaan penelitian ini.. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode Problem Solving melalui teknik double loop terhadap kemampuan analisis siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan analisis siswa kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan berupa metode Problem Solving melalui teknik double loop antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kompetensi dasar mendeskripsikan APBN dan APBD, dan (2) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis siswa eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan berupa metode Problem Solving melalui teknik double loop dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah pada kompetensi dasar mendeskripsikan APBN dan APBD. Oleh karena itu kelas yang menggunakan metode Problem Solving melalui teknik double loop lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis. Metode Problem Solving melalui teknik double loop sangat di sarankan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran ekonomi di sekolah khususnya untuk kompetensi dasar mendeskripsikan APBN dan APBD dalam pembangunan.;---The Low analytical skills of students in eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya were the main concern of the study. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Problem Solving method through the technic double loop towards the students’ analytical ability. The method used was quasi experiment by using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjects consisted of two classes XI IPS 4 as an experimental class while XI IPS 3 as the control class.. the result showed that (1) there are differences in students’ analytical ability before and after given the of Problem Solving method through the technic double loop to their understanding of basic competence APBN and APBD, and (2) there are significance differences in students analytical ability in experimental class which is given the treatment of Problem Solving method through the technic double loop to their understanding of basic competence APBN and APBD. Therefore the class that uses the Problem Solving method through double loop technique is better in improving the analytical skills. Problem Solving method through the technic double loop it is highly recommended to be applied in learning the economy of basic competence APBN and APBD.
