Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji coba pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) terhadap sikap tanggung jawab siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS (kuasi eksperimen di kelas VII SMP Negeri 15 Bandung). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain “The nonequivalent pretest-posttest control desain” dengan pola “pretest” dan “postest” serta dilakukan treatment pada kelas VII-D sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan VII-E sebagai kelompok kelas kontrol yang dijadikan pembanding. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (purposive sampling). Pengumpulan data terhadap sikap tanggung jawab siswa menggunakan angket tertutup sebagai data utama. Setelah data terkumpul, lalu dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji hipotesis atau Uji-T. hasil perbedaan antara “pretest” dan “postest” pada kelas eksperimen yang diberikan treatment menunjukkan perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol antara “pretest” dan “postest” yang tidak diberikan treatment hasilnya tidak ada perbedaan atau tidak ada peningkatan. Dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) terhadap sikap tanggung jawab siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS.----------This research has an attempt to examine the influence of cooperative learning model with the type of two stay two stray (TSTS) on students’ responsibility in social study subject (quasi-experiment in 8th grade of SMPN 15 Bandung). This research employed quasi-experimental method with the design namely nonequivalent pretestposttest control design, and pattern pretest and postest, also conducting treatment in 7D class as experimental class group. Meanwhile, 7E class as a control class group which acted as a comparison. The technique used for taking the sample was purposive sampling. The data about students’ responsibility were collected using closed-ended questionnaire as the main data. After the data were collected, the analysis of data was conducted quantitatively through hypothesis test or Uji-T. The result of difference between pretest and postest in experimental class group which has been given the treatment showed different improvement which was quite significant, whereas in the control class group between pretest and postest which have not been given treatment, there was no difference or no improvement. Therefore, it can be stated that there is significant influence from using coopertive learning model with the type of two stay two stray (TSTS) on students’ responsibility in social study subject.
