Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental designs dengan One Group Pretest Posttest Design yaitu eksperimen dengan kelompok tunggal tanpa menggunakan kelompok pembanding. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Puragabaya Bandung. Teknik Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling purposive. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi B di SMK Puragabaya Bandung. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pemberian kuesioner tentang motivasi belajar siswa di kelas X Akuntansi B di SMK Puragabaya Bandung sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Pengujian statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu uji normalitas data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori tinggi dengan prosentase 54%, dan prosentase siswa dengan kategori rendah sebesar 15%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis (uji t) didapatkan nilai thitung = 11,1068 dan ttabel = 7,815. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa thitung > ttabel, maka Ho ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian dan pengolahan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share.----------The purpose of this research was to determine an increase in student's motivation in learning accounting after using cooperative learning model of think pair share type on basic accounting subject. The method used in this research is pre-experimental designs with One Group Pretest Posttest Design with single group without using comparison group. The population of this study were students of class X Accounting SMK Puragabaya Bandung. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The samples of this study were students of class X Accounting B SMK Puragabaya Bandung. For data collection, questionnaires about learning motivation were given to students in class X B Accounting SMK Puragabaya Bandung, before and after learning session with cooperative learning model of think pair share type. The method used to examine this issue was descriptive statistic. Statistical tests used in this research was the normality test and hypothesis test. Data processing technique which used was aided by Microsoft Excel. The results of data analysis process showed that students motivation in experiments class was tended in high category with 54% percentage, and percentage of students motivation which tended in low category was 15%. Based on the results of hypothesis test (t-test) obtained tstatistics = 11,1068 and ttable = 7,815. It shows that tstatistics > ttable, so that Ho was a rejected. From the results could be concluded that there was a increase in students learning motivation after the use of cooperative learning model of think pair share type.
