    Abstract

    Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan teknik permainan initial sound bingo dalam pembelajaran membaca pemahaman bahasa Perancis pada siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 SMAN 3 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Kemampuan membaca siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan teknik permainan Initial Sound Binggo; (2) Efektivitas teknik permainan Initial Sound Binggo dalam keterampilan membaca bahasa Perancis; (3) Pendapat siswa terhadap permainan Initial Sound Binggo dalam keterampilan membaca pembelajaran bahasa Perancis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra-experimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, tes dan angket. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes dan angket. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas XI MIPA 6 SMAN 3 Cimahi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penggunaan teknik permainan initial sound bingo membantu meningkatan kemampuan keterampilan membaca pemahaman bahasa Perancis. Hal ini terlihat dari selisih nilai rata-rata prates 83,6 dan nilai rata-rata pascates 91,8. Dengan demikian, peneliti dapat m,enyimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan sebesar 8,2 poin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 3,6dan nilai ttabel sebesar 2.04. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dengan taraf signifikasi 5% dan derajat kebebasan sebesar 20. Berdasarkan kriteria hipotesis, apabila nilai thitung> ttabel, maka hipotesis kerja diterima. Nilai masing-masing thitung dan ttabel dalam penelitian ini adalah 3,6> 2.04. Berdasarkan hasil analisis angket, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa 60% dari jumlah responden mengatakan bahwa teknik permainan initial sound bingo membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman bahasa Perancis dan 76,7% merasa senang menggunakan teknik permainan ini. Dengan demikian, peneliti merekomendasikan agar teknik permainan initial sound bingo dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu teknik permainan alternatif yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Perancis khususnya pada pembelajaran membaca pemahaman. ----
    This study discusses about the effectiveness of the use Initial Sound Bingo game techniques in learning reading comprehension of French language for students in class XI MIPA 6 SMAN 3 Cimahi of 2017/2018. This study aims to describe: (1) Students' reading ability before and after using Initial Sound Bingo game techniques; (2) The effectiveness of Initial Sound Bingo game techniques in French reading comprehension skills; (3) Student's opinion on the Initial Sound Bingo game in French reading comprehension skill French language learning reading skill. This research uses pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design literature study, test and questionnaire as the data collection techniques. The instruments in this research are test and questionnaire. The sample used in this study were 3 students of class XI MIPA 6 SMAN 3 Cimahi. Based on the results of the study, the use of initial sound bingo game helps to improve the skills of French reading comprehension skill. This can be seen from the difference between the pretest average of 83.6 and the posttest average of 91.8. That means there is an increase of 8.2 points. The results showed that the count value of 3.6 and the value of t-table of 2.04. The result is obtained with a significance level of 5% and adegree of freedom of 20. Based on the hypothesis criteria, if the value of t-count > t-table, then the working hypothesis accepted. The value of each t-count and t-table in this study is 3.6 > 2.04. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis, researcher can conclude that 60% of the respondents say that the initial sound bingo game technique helps students improve their French reading comprehension and 76.7% of the respondents feel happy using this game technique. Thus, the researchers recommend that the game technique of initial sound bingo can be used as one of the alternative game techniques that can be used in learning French especially in reading comprehension learning.
