Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan computer based test (CBT) untuk membantu guru dalam menilai literasi STEM siswa pada materi energi dan perubahannya. Responden dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII dan IX sejumlah 80 orang dan guru IPA 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah R&D model 4D (define, design, develop, dan dessiminate). Data diperoleh berdasarkan lembar validasi konten ahli (ahli asesmen dan ahli media), lembar penilaian usabilitas, testing motivational questioner (TMQ), angket tanggapan siswa, dan format wawancara guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT memiliki karakteristik tingkat kesukaran dari mudah sampai dengan sukar dan memiliki daya pembeda pada kategori cukup sampai dengan sangat baik. CBT dapat memberi skor dan menyimpan jawaban siswa secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBT yang dikembangkan memiliki validitas soal dengan CVI 0,893, validitas media 85,63 yang termasuk pada kategori sangat baik, reliabilitas 0,78 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan usabilitas 88,9 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. CBT dapat menilai literasi STEM siswa secara efektif. Guru menanggapi baik terhadap CBT literasi STEM. Sebagian besar siswa sangat antusias ketika menggunakan CBT dan hanya sebagian kecil siswa merasa cemas ketika menggunakan CBT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa CBT yang dikembangkan dapat menilai literasi STEM siswa pada tingkat validitas, reliabilitas, dan usabilitas yang sangat baik.---- The purpose of this study was to develop computer based test (CBT) to facilitate teachers in assessing STEM student literacy on energy and its changes topic. Respondents in this study were 8th and 9th grade student of junior high school a number of 80 students and 20 science teachers. The method used in this study was the R&D 4D model (define, design, develop, and dessiminate). Data obtained by expert content validation sheet (assessment experts and media experts), usability evaluation sheets, testing motivational questionnaire (TMQ), student response questionnaire, and teacher interview sheets. The results showed that CBT has some characteristics of difficulty level which are easy to difficult and discrimination level which are adequate to excellent. CBT can score and store student answers directly. The results showed that the CBT with CVI 0.893, media validity 85.63 which is included in “very good” category, reliability 0.78 which is included in “high” categories, and usability 88.9 which is included in “very good” categories. CBT can effectively assess STEM literacy. Teachers respond well to CBT STEM literacy. Most students are very enthusiastic when using CBT and only a small percentage of students feel anxious when using CBT. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the CBT developed can assess STEM student literacy on the level of validity, reliability and excellent usability.
