Abstract

Discipline is the act of an individual in controlling behavior as standard as prevention before problems arise. Discipline is required by anyone and anywhere. This study is based on the importance of the discipline necessary to organize student behavior in relation to the environment. Discipline development is done by providing a guidance service to the students that is personal guidance. The purpose of this research is to get an empirical picture of high school student discipline and personal guidance program based on high school student discipline which is feasible to be applied according to expert and practitioner of guidance and counseling. The research used quantitative approach with descriptive method. The population in this study are the students of class XI SMAN 16 Bandung Academic Year 2017/2018 consisting of 11 classes as many as 367 students. The results showed that student discipline is generally in the medium category, based on every aspect of discipline there is one aspect is in the high category and two aspects are in the medium category, based on the indicators of discipline there are two indicators are in the high category and the other five indicators are in the medium category. Personal guidance programs that have been formulated based on the discipline profile of high school students are feasible to apply in schools according to expert and practitioner of guidance and counseling.---- Disiplin adalah tindakan individu dalam mengendalikan perilaku sesuai standar sebagai pencegahan sebelum masalah muncul. Disiplin diperlukan oleh siapapun dan dimanapun. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya disiplin yang diperlukan untuk menata perilaku siswa dalam hubungannya di tengah-tengah lingkungannya. Pengembangan disiplin dilakukan dengan cara memberikan suatu layanan bimbingan kepada siswa yaitu bimbingan pribadi. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memeroleh gambaran empirik tentang disiplin siswa SMA dan program bimbingan pribadi berdasarkan disiplin siswa SMA yang layak diterapkan menurut pakar dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 16 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari 11 kelas yaitu sebanyak 367 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin siswa secara umum berada pada kategori sedang, berdasarkan setiap aspek disiplin terdapat satu aspek berada pada kategori tinggi dan dua aspek berada pada kategori sedang, berdasarkan indikator disiplin terdapat dua indikator berada pada kategori tinggi dan lima indikator lainnya berada pada kategori sedang. Program bimbingan pribadi yang telah dirumuskan berdasarkan profil disiplin siswa SMA sudah layak diterapkan di sekolah menurut pakar dan praktisi bimbingan dan konseling.
