Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari adanya kesulitan siswa dalam menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Jepang. Salah satu faktor sulit berkembangnya kemampuan menulis adalah kurangnya latihan menulis kalimat sederhana dalam bahasa Jepang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan metode task-based learning dalam pengajaran menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Jepang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen murni dengan mengambil sampel penelitian siswa kelas X IPS 1 dan siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMA PGRI 1 Bandung sebanyak 43 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tulis dan angket. Dari hasil analisis data tes diperoleh t hitung (to) sebesar 2,53 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 2,02 pada taraf signifikasi 5%. Karena t hitung (to) lebih besar dari t tabel, maka hipotesis kerja (Hk) diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode task-based learning efektif dalam pembelajaran menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Jepang dibandingkan dengan metode yang biasa digunakan di kelas. Selain itu, analisis data angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penerapan metode task-based learning dalam pembelajaran menulis kalimat sederhana bahasa Jepang.;---This research is motivated by difficulty of students in writing simple sentence in Japanese. One of many factors which makes it difficult for students to develop their writing skill is the lack of excercise to write simple sentence in Japanese. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of using task-based learning method on writing simple sentence in Japanese. The method is true experimental method and takes tudents of class X IPS 1 and students of class X IPS 2 PGRI 1 High School Bandung with total of 43 people as sample. The instrument that are used in this research are tests and questinnares. Based on the results of the tests, the value of to = 2,53 is larger than the value of t table = 2,02 at the 5% significance level. Because to is larger than t table, it means that the working hypothesis (Hk) is received. It can be concluded that in learning writing simple sentence in Japanese, the use of task-based learning method is more effective than the usual method which usually used at the class. Furthermore, the data from questionnare showed that students gave positive response to the application of using task-based learning method on writing simple sentence in Japanese.
