Abstract
Sekolah Muhammadiyah berbeda dengan sekolah umum lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pendidikan Islam di sekolah berbasis Muhammadiyah. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tempatnya yaitu di SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran mengenai tujuan pendidikan Muhammadiyah yaitu untuk menciptakan kader-kader yang siap bersaing dengan berlandaskan iman dan taqwa. Adapun pelaksanaan pendidikan, kurikulum yang digunakan yaitu kurikulum dari pemerintah dan kurikulum Muhammadiyah yang di dalamnya ada penambahan Bahasa Arab, Kemuhammadiyahan, dan Al-Islam. Pendidik SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung, rata-rata berkualifikasi S1 dan mengajar sesuai dengan bidangnya, walaupun masih ada beberapa guru yang mengajar tidak sesuai dengan bidangnya. Peserta didiknya pun memiliki karakter yang sopan dan santun. Metode dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pun disesuaikan dengan materi ajar. Sarana dan prasarana di sekolah sudah memadai. Hasil pendidikan Islam Muhammadiyah yaitu cukup membanggakan, bila dilihat dari alumni-alumni yang menjadi khitoh perjuangan menjadi kader Muhammadiyah, banyaknya siswa yang diterima di SMA Negeri, dan prestasi-prestasi yang diperoleh oleh siswa yaitu tapak suci, Hizbul Wathan, Angklung, dan lain sebagainya.;---Muhammadiyah schools are different with other public schools. The aims of the research is to find out Islamic Education in schools based on Muhammadiyah. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method. It's place in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung. Collecting data is done through interview, document study, documentation study, and observation. Based on the result of research, can get representation about the aims of muhammadiyah education is to create cadres ready to compete based on faith and taqwa. The implementation of education, curriculum used is the curriculum of the government and Muhammadiyah curriculum in which there are Arabic language, science muhammadiyah, and Al-Islam. Educators of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Bandung, average S1 qualified and teach in accordance with the basic of education, although there are still some teachers who are not in accordance with the basic of education. The learners also have a polite and courteous character. Learning methods and learning media that are used appropriate with teaching materials. The facilities and infrastructure in schools are adequate. The result of Muhammadiyah Islamic education is quite qualified, when viewed from alumnus of alumnus who become khitoh struggle to become Muhammadiyah cadres, a lot of the alumnus from SMP Muhammadiyah received in SMA Negeri, and the achievements produced by the students are sacred tread, hizbul wathan, angklung,etc.
