Abstract
Menggunakan sebuah Groupware Calendar System sangatlah penting bagi para user di lingkungan akademik yang memiliki jadwal aktivitas yang sangat padat, karena selain dapat mengelola jadwal menjadi lebih terorganisir, juga dapat menghindari dari masalah seperti bentrok ataupun lupa jadwal. Namun masalah utama yang sering dihadapi dari sebuah Groupware Calendar System bukan dalam sistemnya melainkan dari penggunanya sendiri yang enggan menggunakan karena sulit beradaptasi dan sudah terbiasa dengan cara konvensional. Solusi untuk permasalahan kurangnya pemanfaatan Groupware Calendar System yaitu dengan memperbaiki kualitas User interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX). Dengan melakukan penelitian menggunakan UX Design sebagai model yang menjadi acuan dalam perancangan UI & UX sebuah Groupware Calendar System yang diharapkan dapat menjawab permasalahan sebelumnya, dipadukan dengan Technology Acceptance Model sebagai metode untuk menguji apakah Groupware Calendar System akan diterima atau tidak oleh para pengguna. Setelah melakukan pengujian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa UI & UX pada Groupware calendar system yang telah dirancang memberikan pengaruh positif tertinggi terhadap niatan pengguna untuk menggunakan sistem ini (Behaviour intention to use) dengan nilai 6.87 dan 8.13. Sedangkan untuk nilai kepuasan terhadap sistem ini yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 4.09 dari nilai maksimal 5.----------It’s very important to use a Groupware Calendar System for user in cavity academica who have very busy schedule, because with Groupware Calendar System user can manage their own personal schedule to be more organized and avoided from problems such as clashing schedule or forget to attend a meeting. But the main problem why people still don’t use a Groupware Calendar System is not in the system, but it’s from the user it self, they reluctant to use because it is difficult to adapt and satisfied with the conventional way. One of the solution for this problem is to improve the quality of the User interface (UI). By doing research using UX Design as a model for the reference in designing UI & UX of Groupware Calendar System. which is can become the answer for the problem. Combined with Technology Acceptance Model as a method to test whether Groupware Calendar System will be accepted or not by the users. After testing, it was found that UI & UX in Groupware calendar system that has been designed gives the highest positive effect on behavior intention to use this system with value 6.87, 8.13 dan with an average value of 4.09 to 5 for the satisfaction.
