Abstract
Pendidikan di zaman modern membutuhkan yang namanya pengelolaan dan perencanaan yang baik. Salah satu hal yang harus diatur yakni penggunaan strategi belajar yang tepat, dalam hal ini penggunaan model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran memberikan sesuatu yang baru kepada guru dalam menyampaikan materi dikelas. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Problem Based Learning.Model Problem Based Learning menggunakan pengalaman langsung yang mana sesuai dengan materi yang diujicobakan yaitu pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, mata pelajaran ini menggunakan pengalaman langsung dengan lingkungan sekitar sehingga berkaitan dengan model Problem Based Learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Rumusan masalah secara umum“Apakah penggunaan model Problem Based Learning efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Bintara Jaya VII Kota Bekasi?”. Sedangkan rumusan masalah secara khusus penelitian ini adalah Apakah penggunaan model Problem Based Learningefektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pemahaman (C2), penerapan (C3), dan penganalisis (C4) pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas IV SDN Bintara Jaya VII Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta menggunakan desain Non-equivalent Control Group bentuk Pretest-Posttest control group design. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t independen. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes objektif bentuk pilihan ganda. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah secara cluster sampling. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pemahaman(C2), penerapan (C3), dan pemganalisis (C4) pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di SDN Bintara Jaya VII Kota Bekasi. Kata kunci :Teknologi Pendidikan, Model Pembelajaran, Problem Based Learning , Hasil Belajar, IlmuPengetahauan Sosial, Education in modern era requires good management and planning. One of the things that should be regulated is the use of appropriate learning strategies, in this case the use of learning models. The learning model provides something new to the teacher in the legibility of the class material. Learning model used in this research is Problem Based Learning. Problem Based Learning model uses direct experience which is in accordance with the material tested on Social Science subject, this subject uses direct experience with the surrounding environment so that it relates to Problem Based Learning model. This study aims to determine the model of Problem Based Learning learning in Social Science subjects (IPS). In general, the research problems in this present study cover, "Does the Problem Based Learning model have a significant effect on the improvement of students' learning outcomes in the Social Science subject in the class IV at SDN Bintara Jaya VII, Bekasi City?". However, in particular, the specific research problem in this study is that “Can the Problem Based Learning model improve the student learning outcomes on the aspects of understanding (C2), applying (C3), and analyzing (C4) on the Social Science subject in the class IV at SDN Bintara Jaya VII, Bekasi City. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach using a non-equivalent control group in the form of pretest-posttest control group design. In this study, an independent t-test was used as a technique in the data analysis. In addition, the instrument used in this study was an objective test in the form of multiple choices. In regard to the research sampling, this study employed a cluster sampling as a technique of collecting the samplings. In general, it can be concluded that the model of Problem Based Learning in fact can improve student learning outcomes on the aspects of understanding (C2), applying (C3), and analyzing (C4) on the Social Science subject (IPS).
