Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Pembelajaran Tari Piring untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas Siswa kelas VIII L di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung”. Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan untuk menemukan atau mengkombinasikan suatu gagasan yang baru yang telah ada. Permasalahn ini berawal dari bagaimana proses pembelajaran tari dan bagaimana kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari di kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Eksperimen dengan desain “One Group Pretest – Postest”. Populasi penelitian ini secara lebih spesifik adalah siswa jenjang sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) di SMP Negeri 45 Bandung pada kelas VIII L dengan jumlah sampel 37 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pada proses pembelajaran tari piring siswa secara aktif menemukan dan menciptakan gerak melalui stimulus yang diberikan oleh guru, pada saat penilaian postets menunjukan peningkatan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil kretaivitas siswa sebagai tolak ukur keberhasilan meningkatnya kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari. Peneliti mengamati setelah diketahui adanya peningkatan yang sigifikan terhadap hasil pretest dan posttest. hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa pembelajaran tari piring dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, dan penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil. Kata Kunci : Kreativitas Siswa dan Pembelajaran Tari Piring. This research entitled "Learning Piring Dance (Plate Dance) to Increase the Class VIII L Students' Creativity in 45 Junior High School Bandung. The problems of this research began with how was the process of dance learning and how was the creativity of the eight graders of class L on dance learning in 45 Junior High School Bandung. The purpose of this research was to improve the creativity of students in dance learning. The method used in this research was the experimental method with "One Group Pretest-Postest" design. The population of this research was the eight graders in 45 Junior High School Bandung. Samples were taken by using the purposive sampling technique. In the process of learning Piring Dance (plate dance) students actively discovered and created motions through the stimulus provided by the teacher. The post-test result showed that there was an increase in students' creativity on dance learning. From the results of research, students' the results of students' creativity was considered as a benchmark of success in increasing the creativity of students on dance learning. The researcher observed after determining a significant increase in the results of the pre-test and the post-test. This shows that learning the Piring Dance (plate dance) can improve the class VIII L students' creativity in SMP Negeri 45 Bandung
