Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya self-efficacy yang menjelaskan apakah remaja akan berhasil atau tidak dalam hal akademiknya di sekolah. Fenomena yang terjadi di SMP Negeri I Bandung ialah masih banyak peserta didik yang mengerjakan pekerjaan rumah di sekolah, selalu menyontek hasil pekerjaan teman, selalu mengeluh jika diberikan tugas yang sulit, dan timbul perilaku stres jika tidak mampu mengerjakan tugas dengan baik. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil academic self-efficacy dam implikasinya bagi layanan dasar bimbingan belajar kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bandung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Desain penelitian menggunakan survai lintas bagian dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 367 responden. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui instrumen academic self-efficacy yang dikembangkan oleh Putri Dwi Fithria dan pengolahan data menggunakan Pendekatan Rasch. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa academic self-efficacy berdasarkan gambaran umum termasuk kategori cukup yakin. Hasil ini berimplikasi bagi layanan dasar bimbingan belajar untuk meningkatkan academic self-efficacy peserta didik.;---This research is motivated by the importance of self-efficacy that explains whether or not teenagers will succeed in academic. The phenomenon that occurs in SMP Negeri 1 Bandung is still a lot of learners who do homework at school, always cheat the work of friends, always complained when given a difficults task, and arise stress behavior if not able to do the job well. The objective of this reseacrh is to describe profil of academic self-efficacy and its implications for curriculum services to VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bandung in academic year 2016/2017. The research approach used is quantitative approach with descriptive method. The research design used a cross-sectional survey with the population as many as 349 respondents. The data are collected by using academic self-efficacy instrument developed by Putri Dwi Fithria and processed statistically using analysis Rasch Model. The results of this research show that general overview is in a fairly certain category. Implication of the research for increase students’ academic self-efficacy based on curriculum services.
