Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Apresiasi Tari Tradisi dengan Metode Field Trip pada Siswa Kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Padaherang”. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini ialah lemahnya apresiasi siswa terhadap tari tradisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data tingkat kemampuan apresiasi siswa terhadap tari tradisi dalam aspek mengamati, menghayati dan mengevaluasi suatu karya tari. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini disajikan dengan menggunakan statistika deskriptif dengan bentuk presentase. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis pada bab IV diperoleh data bahwa tingkat apresiasi siswa meningkat secara signifikan. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan perkembangan siswa menjadi lebih aktif, mampu mengamati, menghayati dan mengevaluasi suatu karya tari yang diapresiasi. Dari aspek mengamati menunjukan bahwa siswa dapat menemukan dan menganalisis semua unsur pendukung tari. Dari aspek menghayati menunjukan siswa dapat menilai dua sisi baik dan buruk suatu pertunjukan, serta dapat menemukan dua pesan yang terkandung dalam tarian yang diapresiasi. Sedangkan aspek mengevaluasi menunjukan bahwa siswa dapat menyebutkan semua unsur pendukung tari dan dapat menyimpulkan dengan baik hasil dari pertunjukan yang diapresiasinya. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya semoga skripsi ini dapat dijadikan referensi, dan untuk guru seni budaya dan keterampilan semoga dapat mengolah metode pembelajaran secara efektif sehingga siswa lebih apresiatif terhadap pembelajaran seni tari. Kata kunci : Pembelajaran seni tari, Metode field trip, dan Apresiasi This research paper is entitled “The Appreciation of Traditional Dance Through Field Trip Method Towards Fifth-Graders Students at Elementary School of 3 Padaherang”. The research was motivated by the lack of students’ appreciation on tradition of dance art. The study was aimed at determining the level of students’ appreciation on dance art within several aspects, such as observating, paying attention, and evaluating dance art. This research paper employed descriptive method with quantitative approach. The data were presented by using descriptive statistics in the form of percentage. The study, based on the data analysis in the Chapter IV, revealed that the degree of students’ appreciation increased significantly. Similarly, students developed positively, in a way they were able to observe, pay attention, and evaluate the dance art being appreciated. From the aspect of observation, students could find out and analyze all supporting factors of the dance art. In addition, with paying attention, students were able to assess the art from two perspectives of a show, and they could comprehend two values from the dance art. Meanwhile, in the aspect of evaluation, students could elaborate all supporting factors of dance art, and they managed to conclude how the show has run. Besides that, the recommendation for further research is that this research paper is highly expected to be used as one of many references, and the study can be also adopted as the teaching material in order to explore the most suitable teaching method for the students, so they can appreciate more on the subject of dance art.
