Abstract
Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai kinerja operasional sekolah. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja operasional sekolah yaitu sistem manajemen mutu. Dan sistem manajemen mutu yang diambil adalah motif internal implementasi sistem manajemen mutu. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauhmana pengaruh motif internal dalam pengimplementasian sistem manajemen mutu (ISO 9001:2008) terhadap kinerja operasional sekolah. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu motif internal dalam pengimplementasian sistem manajemen mutu (ISO 9001:2008) (X) dan kinerja operasional sekolah (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Explanatory Survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar kuisioner, yang dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan skor gain ternormalisasi. Dan yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan SMKN 1 Bandung yang diambil sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa (1) Motif internal dalam pengimplementasian sistem manajemen mutu (ISO 9001:2008) berdasarkan beberapa indikator masuk dalam kategori efektif, (2) Kinerja operasional sekolah menurut beberapa indikator masuk dalam kategori tinggi, (3) Motif internal dalam pengimplementasian sistem manajemen mutu (ISO 9001:2008) secara positif berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kinerja operasional sekolah di SMKN 1 Bandung. ---------- The main problem of this study is operational performance of a school. The study is focused on one of the most influential factor toward the school’s operational performance that is Quality Management System. Internal motif in implementation of standard management system was chosen as the standard management system. The main problem in this study was investigating the influence of internal motif in implementation of standard management system (ISO 9001:2008) towards school’s operational performance. There were two variables in this study, the internal motif in implementation of quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) as (X) and the school’s operational performance as (Y). Explanatory Survey was employed as the research method. The data were gained from questionnaire which has been analyzed by gain normalization calculation. The respondents were teachers and education staffs of SMKN 1 Bandung, there were 60 persons involved as the respondents. The findings revealed that (1) the internal motif in implementation of standard management system (ISO 9001:2008) based on some categorization was categorized as effective, (2) the school’s operational performance based on the indicators was categorized as high, (3) the internal motif in implementation of quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) positively affected in improving the school’s operational performance in SMKN 1 Bandung.
