Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan bahan ajar sastra khususnya apresiasi novel. Pada kenyataannya, pembelajaran apresiasi novel lebih menitikberatkan pada pemahaman struktural novel. Pembelajaran apresiasi novel masih mengabaikan nilai-nilai yang ada dalam masyarakat yang terkandung dalam novel, termasuk nilai-nilai pendidikan kedamaian untuk mengatasi terjadinya kekerasan antarpelajar. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya bahan ajar yang baik secara kualitas dan karakteristik karya sesuai untuk jenjang SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rancangan bahan ajar apresiasi sastra dengan mengapresiasi novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua karya Dzikry el Han. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural Todorov dan metode deksriptif. Sementara itu, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, analisis novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua, dan analisis judgement expert. Adapun pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara mengkaji struktur novel, mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan kedamaian yang terkandung di dalam novel, dan merancang bahan ajar dengan mengapresiasi novel tersebut. Peneliti menemukan beberapa hal berkenaan dengan hasil analisis nilai-nilai pendidikan kedamaian, seperti nilai toleransi, solidaritas, kerja sama, demokrasi, menghargai hak asasi manusia, nonkekerasan dan keadilan yang tercermin dalam tokoh, penokohan, dan alur cerita. Sebagai aplikasi atas analisis nilai-nilai pendidikan kedamaian dalam novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua, penelitian merancang bahan ajar dengan mengapresiasi novel tersebut dalam bentuk lembar kerja siswa (LKS). LKS pembelajaran tersebut dirancang untuk membimbing siswa dalam pembelajaran apresiasi novel. ;---This research explained about lack of using literature materials especially novel appreciation. In fact, appreciation of learning novel is more focused on structure. Besides, appreciation of learning novel has not still used the values of the society in novel, including the value of peace of education to avoid interpersonal violence. Therefore, good teaching materials which are good in quality and characteristic are needed by senior high school students. This research aims to describe the literary of appreciation in teaching material with appreciating the novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua by Dzikry el Han. This research uses Todorov's structural approach and descriptive method. Meanwhile, the completion of the data is done by literature study, analysis of novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua, and judgment expert. The data collection used literature study, analysis of novel Cinta Putih di Bumi Papua and experts’ judgements. The process of the data used a reviewing the novel structure, the reviewing of peace of education which contained in the novel, and planning teaching materials with appreciating the novel. The researcher found several points regarding the results of the analysis of the values of peace education, such as tolerance, solidarity, cooperation, democracy, respect for human rights, nonviolence and justice reflected in character, characterization, and storyline. An application for the analysis of peace education novels in the novel Cinta Putih in Bumi Papua, research on the preparation of teaching materials by appreciating the novel in the form of student worksheets. Student Worksheets learning is designed to guide students to appreciate the learning novel.
