Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh 2 hal yaitu: 1) keadaan pendidikan Indonesia yang sedang mengalami krisis multidimensi, baik dari segi mutu maupun output pendidikan. 2) Model pendidikan Islam yang diterapkan di SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung dengan acuan 8 standar dari BSNP. Metote yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan fenomena yang nampak kemudian dianalisis dan ditafsirkan sehingga menjadi sebuah temuan berupa model pendidikan Islam di SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa model pendidikan yang diterapkan di SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung memiliki kekhasan dalam kurikulum dan pembiasaan. Seperti dalam mata pelajaran PAI diberi nama AIK (Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan) yang ditambahkan dengan materi Kemuhammadiyahan, seperti sejarah berdirinya Muhammadiyah, profil pendiri Muhammadiyah, dan peraturan-peraturan yang diterapkan untuk anggota Muhammadiyah. Adapun sekolah ini menerapkan full day school, sehingga pembiasaan dapat diaplikasikan tidak hanya di dalam maupun di luar sekolah.;---The research was disseminated by 2 things: 1) The situation of education in Indonesia that are experiencing crisis multidimensional, both in terms of quality as well as the output of education. 2) The Model of Islamic Education that has been applied to the SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung with the reference on 8 standards of BSNP. The research method used a qualitative approach by describing a phenomenon that appears and then analyzed and interpreted that consequently becomes a form of discovery education model in the SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung. Data collection techniques that utilized in this research are the interview, observation and study of documentation. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the model of education that had been applied in the SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung have idiosyncrasies in the curriculum and acclimatizing. In subjects such as PAI that named AIK (Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan) are added to the Kemuhammadiyahan subject, such as the history of the founding of the Muhammadiyah, a profile of the Muhammadiyah founder, and the regulations that applied to members of the Muhammadiyah. SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Bandung has been implemented a full day school that causes the conditioning can be applied not only in or outside of the school.
