Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil keterampilan menulis pantun siswa, hal ini ditandai dengan banyaknya siswa yang masih dibawah KKM yang telah ditentukan. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pantun siswa kelas IV. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pantun siswa kelas IV di SD Chm. Adapun tujuan khusus penelitian yaitu, bagaimanakah perencanaan pembelajaran, bagaimanakah pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan bagaimanakah peningkatan keterampilan menulis pantun siswa kelas IV SDN Chm setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, desain Kemmis dan Tagart. Penelitian berlangsung dalam 3 siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan tes, data hasil observasi tentang pembelajaran diolah dengan melalui reduksi data, display data, dan interpretasi data, data hasil tes diolah dengan menggunakan statistik rata-rata dan persentase. Kesimpulan, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia perlu direncanakan dengan cermat agar berfungsi sebagai teknis pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar keterampilan menulis pantun siswa kelas IV SDN Chm Bandung. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I adalah 57,5 dan mendapatkan presentase ketuntasan terhadap Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) sebesar 18,2%. Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai meningkat menjadi 83,3 dan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 86,3% Pada siklus III rata-rata nilai meningkat kembali menjadi 94,6 dan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 100%. Kata Kunci: Think Pair Share (TPS), Keterampilan Menulis Pantun This research is motivated by the lack of results of students’ pantun writing, it is characterized by many students who are still under KKM predetermined. Hopefully this research can improve the pantun writing skill of four grader students. The general objective of this study is to describe the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type to improve pantun writing skill of four grader students in SDN Chm. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type in improving students’ pantun writing skill of four grader students SDN Chm. The method used is classroom action research, Kemmis design and Tagart. The research is conducted in three cycles. Data collected through observation and tests, the data is processed by the observation of learning through data reduction, data display, and interpretation of data, test data is processed by using average statistics and percentages. In conclusion, the research results show that the application of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type in Indonesian subjects need to be carefully planned in order to function as a technical learning. The implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share type can increase the activity of learning to write pantun for four grader students of SDN Chm Bandung. The average value of the first cycle is 57.5 and gets a percentage of completeness of the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) amounted to 18.2%. In the second cycle the average value increased to 83.3 and the percentage of completeness of 86.3% on the third cycle the average value rose again to 94.6 and the percentage of completeness of 100%.
