Abstract
Program keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) di SMK menuntut siswa untuk memiliki skill menggambar dan salah satu caranya yaitu dengan mempelajari mata pelajaran Gambar Konstruksi Bangunan (GKB). Pada proses pembelajaran GKB banyak siswa yang kurang memahami materi dan kurang memahami cara menggambar dengan baik, sehingga hasil belajar dan nilai prestasinya tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran GKB, penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI SMKN 1 Sumedang dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran Scaffolding pada ranah kognitif afektif dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar yang berbeda pada kelas pembelajaran dengan metode Scaffolding dan kelas pembelajaran konvensional (ceramah). Pada kelas dengan pembelajaran metode Scaffolding menunjukan nilai N-Gain =0,56 sedangkan nilai N-Gain pada kelas konvensional yang mencapai N-Gain =0,32. Hasil belajar pada kelas pembelajaran Scaffolding menunjukan peningkatan pada kategori sedang, sedangkan pada kelas konvensional menunjukan peningkatan kategori rendah. Kata kunci: Scaffolding, Hasil belajar, kelas kontrol. Building Construction Program in Vocational High School demanding student to have a drawing skill and one of the trick is to learn the building construction drawing subject. In the process of learning building construction drawing, many student who do not understand the subject material and not understanding how to draw, so the study result and the score is low. This study aims to improve the students in Building Construction Drawing subject, and it was done in XI grade class at Sumedang 1 Vocational High School with the application of Scaffolding learning method in the ralm of cognitive affective and psikomotorik. It was Non Equivalent Control Group Design Research. It show the different result from the improvement of the study between the class with scaffolding learning method and the class with conventional learning method. In the class with Scaffolding learnng method shows the N-Gain value = 0.56, and the class with Conventional learning method shows N-Gain value = 0.32. The study result of the Scaffolding learning method’s class is in the medium improvement category, and for the Conventional learning method’s class is in low improvement category.
