Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meneliti bagaimana (1) unsur-unsur ékprésif pengarang novél Lembur Singkur dan (2) proses kreatif kepengarangan Abdullah Mustappa dalam novél Lembur Singkur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu déskriptif, dengan konsep ekspresif M.H Abrams sebagai pendekatannya. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka, wawacara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pedoman wawancara, alat rekam, kamera, dan kartu data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan unsur-unsur ekspresif pengarang, seperti faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan mental pengarang. Faktor-fator tersebut adalah kontemplasi, spontanitas, intuisi, pengalaman, intelegensi, integrasi, kepribadian, emosi, konsep seni, kekuatan batin, imajinasi dan rasa. Dalam proses kreatifnya Abdullah Mustappa melalui beberapa tahapan hingga novél Lembur Singkur diterbitkan. Adapun tahapan yang dilalui dalam prosés kreatifnya yaitu pendekatan, penemuan, penggarapan, pengekspresian hingga pengkomunikasian. Kesimpulannya, unsur-unsur ekspresif yang ditemukan menjadi sebuah rangkaian proses kreatif untuk memperdalam isi cerita serta faktor-faktor mental Abdullah Mustappa mempengaruhi karya yang diciptakannya, yaitu novel Lembur Singkur. Selain itu, ada beberapa saran yang perlu dilakukan oleh mahasiswa yang akan meneliti selanjutnya, yaitu penelitian proses kreatif pengarang harus ditingkatkan lagi untuk memperdalam proses kreatif pengarang Sunda lainnya serta akan lebih baik jika penelitian dihubungkan dengan pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra Sunda di sekolah.,---The purpose of this research was to examine how (1) the elements of expressive novelist Lembur Singkur and (2) the process of creative authorship in the novel Lembur Singkur by Abdullah Mustappa. The method used in this research is descriptive, with expressive concept M.H Abrams as its approach. Research techniques used are literature study, Interview, and documentation. The instruments used in this research are interview, recording equipment, cameras, and card data. The results of this study describes the elements of expressive authors, such as factors related to mental author. Factors such Fator is contemplation, spontaneity, intuition, experience, intelligence, integration, personality, emotions, concept art, inner strength, imagination and taste. Abdullah Mustappa in his creative process through several stages until Lembur Singkur published. The stages through the creative process that is the approach, discovery, cultivation, expression to communicating. In conclusion, the expressive elements were found to be a series of creative process to deepen the content of the story as well as mental factors Abdullah Mustappa affect the work they create, are novel Lembur Singkur. In addition, there are some suggestions that need to be done by students which will examine next, the study authors creative process should be improved further to deepen the creative process as well as the author of more Sunda would be better if the research is connected with the Sundanese language learning and literature in schools.
