Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh observasi penulis di sekolah yaitu SMKN 9 Bandung. Terdapat masalah mengenai pembelajaran yaitu beberapa siswa masih belum terampil dalam menulis cerpen. Selain itu, minat siswa dalam bidang teknologi tidak dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran, misalnya pemanfaatan multimedia interaktif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 9 Bandung dengan tujuan untuk membuat rancangan model sugestopedia yang dikembangkan menjadi multimedia interaktif, membuat rancangan akhir, dan mengetahui keefektifan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian dan pengembangan/Research and Development (R&D). Tahapan model yang dikembangkan dalam multimedia interaktif dengan metode sugestopedia untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita pendek dibagi menjadi beberapa tahapan yaitu analisis, desain produk, pengembangan, implementasi, dan penilaian terhadap multimedia yang digunakan. Produk akhir dikemas dalam bentuk CD yang dapat ditayangkan dengan alat tambahan laptop dan proyektor. Produk ini diuji oleh ahli media dan ahli materi cerpen, serta diaplikasikan secara terbatas pada siswa SMKN 9 Bandung. Multimedia interaktif terdiri atas lima menu utama yang saling berkaitan yaitu apresiasi sastrawan, sugesti positif, cerpen, tes kepahaman, dan menulis cerpen. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli media, persentase kelayakan produk ini adalah 80%, sedangkan manurut ahli materi, persentase kelayakannya 90%. Sementara itu berdasarkan uji coba kepada siswa dengan perhitungan uji reliabilitas antarpenimbang, uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas diperoleh simpulan bahwa multimedia interaktif layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerpen di sekolah.;--- The background of this research was students’ writing problems that were found by the writer’s while doing observation in SMKN 9 Bandung. The observation result showed there were two problems in writing class. First, there were some students who hadn’t good ability in writing short stories. Second, the student's interest in technology, such as the use of interactive multimedia, was not used in learning activities,. This research was conducted at SMKN 9 Bandung. The aim of this research is making model design of suggestopedia that was developed into interactive multimedia, making the final design, and evaluate its effectiveness in teaching writing short stories. The method used in this research was Research and Development (R & D) method. The stages of the model that was developed in interactive multimedia with suggestopedia method for increasing students’ ability in writing short stories were analysis, product design, development, implementation, and evaluation of multimedia used. The final product was packaged in a CD that can be played by additional tools, such as laptop and projector. The product was validated by media experts and short stories material experts, as well as implemented in teaching writing short stories class with limited students of SMKN 9 Bandung. This interactive multimedia consists of five main menus that were interrelated. The main menus are literary appreciation, positive suggestions, short stories selection, test of understanding, and writing short stories. Based on the results of validation of media experts, the percentage of eligibility was 80%, and based on validation of writing short stories material experts, the percentage of eligibility was 90%. Besides, the test of multimedia interactive effectiveness in teaching students writing short stories with the calculation of the reliability test, normality test and homogeneity test research, showed a good result. Therefore, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia was eligible to be used in teaching writing short stories.
