Abstract
Penelitian tentang pengembangan soal two-tier multiple choice pada materi kepadatan penduduk dan pencemaran lingkungan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes two-tier multiple choice yang memenuhi kriteria soal yang baik dalam hal reliabilitas, validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda serta efektifitas pengecoh yang akan digunakan untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep yang dimiliki siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 26 Bandung kelas VII semester II tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Uji coba tes tertulis dilakukan sebanyak dua kali dengan jumlah responden 68 siswa, yaitu pada uji coba I sebanyak 32 siswa dan pada uji coba II 36 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik classroom random sampling. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif. Dari hasil pengembangan 30 butir soal didapatkan 26 soal yang dapat memenuhi kriteria reliabilitas sebesar 0,89 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, validitas sebesar 0,53 dengan kategori cukup, taraf kesukaran sebesar 0.58 dengan kategori sedang, daya pembeda sebesar 0.45 dengan kategori baik dan efektivitas pengecoh yang berfungsi efektif. Hasil pengembangan butir soal two-tier multiple choice digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat penguasaan konsep siswa berdasarkan Kompetensi Dasar (KD). Penguasaan konsep siswa berdasarkan indikator sebanyak 68,18% untuk jenjang C1 sebanyak 77,8 %, C2 63,4 % C3 73% dan C4 sebanyak 58 %. Untuk kategori jenis pemahaman siswa sebagian kecil mengalami miskonsepsi 21%, tidak memahami 9,16% dan memahami sebagian 0,16%. Dengan demikian soal yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sehingga dapat diterima dan digunakan untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep siswa.;--- The study about development of two tier multiple choice questions on material of people density and environmental pollution aims to develop the two tier multiple choice test that fulfill the criteria of good questions in terms of reliability, validity, level of difficulty, distinguisging features and the effectiveness of distractor questions that will be used to measure concept mastery students. The setting of this study was conducted in SMPN 26 Bandung on students seventh grade in the second semester of the academis year 2015/2016. The written test was done twice using 68 respondents where in the first test using 32 students and in the second test using 36 students who were chosen by using classroom random sampling technique. This study is descriptive research. From the result of 30 questions development, it can be obtained 26 items that fulfilled the criteria of reliability of 0.89 with high category, the validity of 0.53 with sufficient category, level of difficulty at 0.58 with sufficient category, the distinguising features at 0.45 with good category and the effectiveness of distractor questions worked effectifely. The result of the development of two-tier multiple choice questions is used to measure the level of concept mastery by students based on the basic competencies (Kompetensi Dasar). The concept mastery students by indikator suc as 68,18%, for C1 level is 77,8 %, C2 63,4 % C3 73% and C4 is 58%. For the category of types of understanding, students experience misconception was 21%, do not understand was 9,16% and understanding partly 0,16%. Thus the development of the questions has fulfilled the criteria, hence it can be accepted and used to measure the concept mastery by students.
