Abstract
Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa yaitu model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang diambil adalah model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture (X) dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kuasi Eksperimen, dan bentuk kuasi eksperimen yang dipilih adalah Nonequivqlenty Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan Dependent sample t-test dan Independent sample t-test untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu Kelas X AP 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas X AP 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan antara penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Picture and Picture dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. ;---The problem which studied in this research is the lack of student cognitive learning outcomes. The core of the study focused on one of the factors that affect student learning outcomes which is the model of learning. The learning model which being used is Cooperative learning model Picture and Picture type. Accordingly, the subject matter which disclosed in this study is the extent to which the influence of cooperative learning model Picture and Picture type towards the student cognitive learning outcomes. The study consists of two variables: the cooperative learning model Picture and Picture type (X) and student cognitive learning outcomes (Y). The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental and the type of quasi-experimental is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used in this research are tests, observation and documentation while data analysis technique used in this research is Dependent sample t-test and Independent sample t-test to see the differences in improvement of student learning outcomes in experimental class and control class. This research subjects are class X AP 1 as the experimental class and class X AP 3 as the control class. The results showed that the improvement of students’ cognitive abilities who implement the cooperative learning model Picture and Picture type is higher than the students’ cognitive abilities who implement cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing type. Thus there is a difference between the application of cooperative learning model Picture and Picture type with cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing type.
