Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas X SMAN 1 Bungursari. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model cooperative learning tipe team game tournament terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Subjek terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X1 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan X5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Uji Hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik parametrik melalui uji t independent dan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebelum dan setelah diberi perlakuan model cooperative learning tipe Team Game Tournament, dan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan model cooperative learning tipe Team Game Tournament dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah bervariasi.;---The problem in this research is the lack of students comprehension concept skill on economic subjects in class X SMAN 1 Bungursari. The purpose of the research was to describe the influence cooperative learning model with type of team game tournament to comprehension concept skill. This study used two classes, in class X1 as an experimental class and X5 as the control class. The method used is quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Collecting data used multiple choice tests. Testing the hypothesis by using parametric statistics through t-test independent and paired t-test. The results showed that there are differences in comprehension concept skill of students in the experimental class before and after treated model of cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament, and there are differences in comprehension concept skills of students in experimental class treated model of cooperative learning type Team Game Tournament with control class using lecture method varies.
