Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penggunaan bahan ajar IPA terpadu tipe shared pada topik tekanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan bahan ajar IPA terpadu tipe shared dan kelas kontrol menggunakan bahan ajar IPA kurikulum 2013. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi keterlaksanaan penggunaan bahan ajar IPA terpadu tipe shared, tes penguasaan konsep, tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, angket tanggapan siswa dan wawancara guru. Data pretest dan postest dianalisis menggunakan SPSS versi 21. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar IPA terpadu tipe shared dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar IPA 2013. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar IPA terpadu secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan bahan ajar IPA kurikulum 2013. ;--- This study aimed to analyzed student’s concept mastery and critical thinking skills using integrated sciences teaching materials shared type on pressure topic. This study was using experimental methods with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted at one of SMP at Cimahi for the 2015/2016 academic year. There were two classes involved, the experiment class where the students using integrated teaching material shared type, while the control class where its students using teaching materials curriculum in 2013 provided at school. Instrument of this study was observation sheets of using integrated teaching materials shared type, concept mastery tests, critical thinking skills teste, student’s questionare responses and teacher’s interview. Data was respectvely collected and analyzed by using SPSS version 21. Analysis of the data showed that there were significant different of concepts mastery and critical thinking skills between experiment class and control class. Based on the results can be concluded that student’s concept mastery and critical thinking skills using integrated teaching materials shared type better significantly than student’s who using teaching materials curriculum in 2013.
