Abstract
Berlatar belakang adanya perbedaan pendapat mengenai implementasi pembelajaran membaca permulaan bagi anak usia dini, di satu sisi anak usia dini tidak diperbolehkan untuk diajari membaca karena tugas perkembangannya belum sampai, sedangkan di sisi lain anak usia dini diperbolehkan diajari membaca asalkan dengan metode dan cara yang tepat. Upaya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan membaca anak usia dini yaitu melalui implementasi pembelajaran membaca permulaan di Taman Kanak-kanak, bertujuan membantu anak mengenali huruf agar dapat membaca kata dan kalimat serta menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pembelajaran membaca permulaan di TK Negeri Pembina Rengasdengklok yang meliputi: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) kendala/solusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa: (1) perencanaan disusun ke dalam RKM dan RKH; (2) pelaksanaan setiap hari Senin selama 30 menit; (3) kendala berkaitan dengan bahan/materi, kemampuan anak dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan, media yang terbatas, dan pembinaan terhadap guru. Kesimpulan akhir bahwa, melalui implementasi pembelajaran membaca permulaan di TK Negeri Pembina Rengasdengklok anak dapat mengenal huruf, membaca kata dan membaca kalimat, meningkatkan kosa kata yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada: (1) guru: untuk memperhatikan materi yang akan disampaikan dan menggunakan media yang lebih variatif (2) sekolah: untuk lebih kreatif mengemas materi pembelajaran membaca permulaan bagi anak (3) peneliti selanjutnya: untuk lebih mengembangkan program pembelajaran membaca permulaan dengan metode yang lebih kreatif dan menarik.;--- The background of this research caused there are many differences of opinion on the early reading learning implementation for early childhood, on one side of early childhood not allowed to be taught to read because their development task has not been ready yet, while on the other hand early childhood taught to read as long as using method and the proper way. The efforts to develop the ability to read early childhood namely through the early reading learning implementation in kindergarten, aims are to help children to recognize letters and to be able read words and sentences and apply it in their daily life. This research describes the early learning reading in Pembina State Kindergarten Rengasdengklok which coverings: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Constraint/Solution. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Collected data through observation interviews and documentation study were analyzed using of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research are : (1) planning to compiled into RKM (Weekly work plan) and RKH (Daily work plan); (2) Implementated every monday for 30 minutes; (3) constraints related to resource material, the ability of children in learning to read, limited media, and guidance to the teachers. The final conclusion that, through the early reading learning implementation that applied in Pembina State Kindergarten Rengasdengklok are children can recognize letters, read words and read the sentence, improve vocabulary applied in everyday life. This study recommends to; (1) teacher: to more pay attention in the material to be conveyed use varied media, (2) school: to be more creative in collecting materials for children's learning to read, (3) and to the further researcher: to do further development program in the method of learning to read with more creative and attractive.
