Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi asumsi yang menyatakan pentingnya penguasaan keterampilan belajar. Pada lingkungan sekolah tidak terlepas dari tuntutan-tuntutan akademik. Tuntutan akademik yang tinggi memicu stres akademik pada peserta didik, sehingga stres yang dialami mempengaruhi kemampuan dalam keterampilan belajar peserta didik. Secara umum penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi penyesuaian diri akademik dan stres akademik terhadap keterampilan belajar siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Inayah Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan studi deksriptif dan desain penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan sebanyak 168 siswa yang merupakan keseluruhan dari jumlah populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) terdapat kontribusi positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan belajar dan penyesuaian diri akademik, artinya meningkat atau menurunnya keterampilan belajar peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh penyesuaian diri akademik, (2) terdapat kontribusi negatif dan signifikan antara keterampilan belajar dan stres akademik, artinya meningkatnya keterampilan belajar dipengaruhi oleh tingkat stres akademik yang rendah, menurunnya keterampilan belajar dipengaruhi oleh tingkat stres akademik yang tinggi. (3) Besarnya peranan dan pengaruh penyesuaian diri akademik dan stress akademik terhadap keterampilan belajar ialah sebesar 0,272. (4) Secara umum, siswa kelas VII MTs. Al-Inayah memiliki keterampilan belajar yang tinggi, penyesuaian diri akademik yang memadai, serta memiliki tingkat stres akademik yang sedang dalam belajar.;--- The study was based on the assumption stating the importance of mastering the learning skills. In a school environment, academic demands are main things that cannot be avoided. High academic demands triggered academic stress on students, leading the stress to be influencing students’ skills in learning. In general, the study aims to determine the contribution of academic adjustment and academic stress on learning skills of students of grade VII MTs. Al-Inayah Bandung Academic Year 2015/2016. The research approach taken is by using a quantitative approach to the study of descriptive and correlational research design. The research sample was set at 168 students which is the total of the population. The results showed (1) there is a positive contribution and significant correlation between learning skills and adjustment to academic, it means increasing or decreasing the learning skills of students affected by the adjustment of academic, (2) there is a negative contribution and significant correlation between learning skills and academic stress, it means increasing learning skills are affected by low levels of academic stress which, decreasing the learning skills is influenced by the high level of academic stress. (3) the role and influence of the adjusment of academic and academic stress on students’ learning skills are 0,272. (4) most of the students of grade VII MTs. Al-Inayah own high level of learning skills, own good academic self-adjustment skills, and own average level of academic stress.
