    Abstract

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis perbedaan penerapan model Think Pair Share dan Model Contextual Teaching and Learning terhadap pemahaman konsep dilihat dari kemampuan awal siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. Teori yang mendasari peneltian ini adalah Teori belajar konstruktivisme sosial Vygotsky, dan Teori Belajar Discovery Bruner. Metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental dengan desain eksperimen two treatment completely radomized factorial design. Disain in disebut dengan CRF 32. Dalam penelitian ini di gunakan 3 kelas eksperimen yaitu, XI Ak2 dan XI AK 3 dan XI AK4 di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan Pemahaman Konsep siswa dengan menggunakan model TPS dan Model CTL, dan terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep siswa pada model TPS dan CTL dengan kemampuan awal siswa,. Model TPS lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dibandingkan dengan Model CTL. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Model TPS dan Model CTL mampu meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep.;---The purpose of this study aimed to examine the application of the model to analyze differences and model Think Pair Share Contextual Teaching and Learning towards the understanding of the concept seen from the initial ability of students in SMK Negeri 1 Cianju. The teori based on this research is the Social Constructivisme learning Theory of Vygotsky and Discovey learning Theory of Bruner. The method used was Quasi-Experimental with two treatment completely radomized factorial design. in The Research with 3 class, XI AK 3, AK 2, and AK4 in SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur. The results showed that there are significant differences in student’s understanding concepts by using model TPS and Model CTL, and there are differences in students' understanding of concepts in the model TPS and CTL with prior knowledge of students. Model TPS is more effective in improving students' understanding of the concept than the CTL models. The implication of this study is that the Model TPS and Model CTL able to improve understanding of concepts.
