Abstract

Siswa tunanetra tidak dapat membaca Al-Qur’an menggunakan mushaf (lembaran) seperti siswa pada umumnya. Oleh karena itu, mereka harus menggunakan Al-Qur’an Braille. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan keefektifan penggunaan metode Al-Barqy dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pra membaca Al-Qur’an Braille bagi siswa tunanetra kelas VII-B. Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini yaitu seorang siswa SMP berusia 13 tahun belum dapat membaca Al-Qur’an Braille dikarenakan siswa belum diajarkan Al-Qur’an Braille dan tidak ada guru khusus yang mengajarinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan Single Subject Research dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Temuan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu telah terjadi peningkatan hasil mean level dan stabil di level 100% pada masing-masing tahapan. Dari keseluruhan data yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pra membaca Al-Qur’an Braille dengan menggunakan metode Al-Barqy pada siswa tunanetra kelas VII-B di SLB Negeri A Kota Bandung. Peneliti merekomendasikan agar guru memanfaatkan dan menggunakan metode Al-Barqy dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pra membaca Al-Qur’an Braille pada siswa tunanetra.; The obstacle of blind student is functioning their eyesight. This obstacle makes them difficult to read Qur’an in the form of mushaf (collection of sheet) which is usually used by many people. Due to the fact, blind student use Braille Qur’an. The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the use of Al-Barqy method in improving the ability of pre-reading Braille Qur’an of blind student of VII B class. This study was based on the finding that there was a 13-year-old blind student who could not read Braille Qur’an. The inability of reading Qur’an Braille was because the student was not taught how to use Braille Qur’an and the absence of special teacher for teaching of reading Qur’an. This study applies experimental method by using single subject research. It also uses A-B-A research design. This study found that the increase of mean level and the stability of 100% in every steps. This study concludes that there are some improvements of pre-reading Braille Qur’an ability through Al-Barqy method of blind student of VII-B in SLB Negeri A Bandung. I recommended to the teachers for use the Al-Barqy method in improving the ability of pre-reading Braille Qur’an of blind students.
