Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penerapan Pendekatan Non Kontekstual dan Kontekstual Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Tari Kandagan Pada Siswa Kelas VII di SMP YAS Bandung” dilatarbelakangi padanannya oleh bahan meningkatkan penguasaan tari Kandagan siswa pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 rumusan masalah (1) Bagaimana penguasaan tari Kandagan sebelum diterapkan pendekatan non kontekstual dan kontekstual pada siswa kelas VII-F di SMP YAS Bandung, (2) Bagaimana proses pembelajaran tari Kandagan melalui Pendekatan non kontekstual dan kontekstual pada siswa kelas VII-F di SMP YAS Bandung, (3) Bagaimana penguasaan tari Kandagan setelah diterapkan pendekatan non kontekstual dan kontekstual pada siswa kelas VII-F di SMP YAS Bandung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu True Experimental Design. Desain ini memiliki kelompok lain yang tidak dikenal eksperimen dan ikut mendapatkan pengamatan. Dengan adanya kelompok lain yang disebut dengan kelompok pembanding atau kelompok kontrol akibat yang diperoleh dari perlakuan dapat diketahui secara pasti karena dibandingkan dengan yang tidak mendapat perlakuan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 23 siswa pada kelompok eksperimen dan 23 siswa pada kelompok kontrol yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara terstruktur, dan tes praktik langsung. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan analisis data diperoleh t hitung penguasaan tari Kandagan siswa 4,54 > t tabel 1,7171 maka ha diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan pendekatan non kontekstual dan kontekstual terhadap penguasaan tari Kandagan siswa. Penerapan pendekatan non kontekstual dan kontekstual merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan tari Kandagan siswa.; The research titled “The use of non contextual and contextual approach increasing Kandagan traditional dance’s mastery to the 7th grade students of YAS Bandung Junior High School” is motivated by material equivalent to increasing the students mastery of Kandagan dance in the aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. This research employs three problems formulation (1) How is the mastery of Kandagan dance before applying non contextual and contextual approach tho the 7th grade students of YAS Bandung Junior High School, (2) How is the learning process of Kandagan dance through the approach of non contextuan and contextual approach applied to the students of 7-F in YAS Bandung Junior High School, (3) How is the mastery of Kandagan dance after the non contextual and contextual approach is applied to the students of 7-F in YAS Bandung Junior High School. The method applied in this research is experiment method wich is true experimental design. This design has another unknown group beyond the experiment and get involved to do an observation. By the existence of another group called the comparison group called the comparison group or control group gained as a result of the treatment can be known with certainty as compared to the untreated. The sampel of this research is 23 students in the experiment group and 23 students in the control group who are taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instruments that are used in this research are observation, structured interviews, and direct practice test. Based on the test results and analysis of data obtained by the t students mastery of Kandagan dance 4,54 > t table 1.7171 so Ha accepted than there are significant means of implementation of non contextual and contextual approach to te mastery of Kandagan dance students. The use of non contextual and contextual is one of the ways that is done to increase students mastery of Kandagan traditional dance.
