Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguasaan konsep, keterampilan praktikum, dan sikap ilmiah siswa melalui pembelajaran IPA Terpadu yang dikembangkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis praktikum pada siswa kelas VIII semester 1 tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode quasi experiment dengan one group pretest and posttest design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep, keterampilan praktikum, dan sikap ilmiah siswa adalah tes kemampuan penguasaan konsep, observasi penilaian keterampilan praktikum siswa, observasi penilaian sikap ilmiah siswa, dan observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain 0,68 dalam kategori sedang, keterampilan praktikum secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase ≥ 76% pada semua indikator dengan kategori baik, sikap ilmiah siswa memperoleh persentase 89,28% dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran 100% terlaksana dengan baik. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis data adalah pembelajaran IPA Terpadu berbasis praktikum dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep, keterampilan praktikum, dan sikap ilmiah siswa. This study aims to determine mastery of concepts, practical skills, and scientific attitudes of students through learning Integrated Science developed with lab-based learning in class VIII first semester of academic year 2015/2016. The method used is a method of pre experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. Data collection tool used to measure mastery of concepts, practical skills, and scientific attitudes of students is the ability to test mastery of concepts, skills assessment practicum student observation, observation of student assessment scientific attitude, and learning observation process. The result showed that the mastery of concepts students has increased by an average <g> 0.68 and were classified as mediocre category, overall the practical skills percentage of ≥ 76% on all indicators of good category, students acquire scientific attitudes percentage of 89.28% with a very good category and learning process 100% well done. Conclusion of the data analysis is that Integrated science teaching practicum can improve their understanding of concepts, practical skills, and scientific attitudes of students.
