Abstract

Efektivitas Penggunaan Teknik Pembelajaran Rotating Roles terhadap Kemampuan Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi temuan kemampuan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas VIII MTs. Terpadu Albidayah Cangkorah yang rendah serta motivasi dalam pembelajaran berbicara yang kurang. Teknik ini diimplementasikan dengan tujuan ingin mengetahui tingkat kefektifitasannya terhadap kemampuan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain non equivalent control group design dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes. Adapun hasil yang didapat adalah nilai akhir rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 64,04 sedangkan kelas eksperimen 82,33 dan ini menunjukkan nilai akhir rata-rata kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan teknik pembelajaran Rotating Roles lebih tinggi dibanding kelas yang tidak menggunakan teknik pembelajaran Rotating Roles. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik dengan menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk didapat nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 nilai tersebut berarti 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti ha diterima dan ho ditolak. Selain itu dari hasil uji gain kelas kontrol dan eksperimen adalah 0,50 dan 0,05 Hasil perhitungan ini termasuk ke dalam kriteria sedang yaitu 0,7>G>0,3. Hal ini menunjukkan teknik pembelajaran Rotating Roles memiliki tingkat kefektifitasan sedang. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan oleh penulis kepada para pengajar bahasa Arab sebagai alternatif pembelajaran berbicara bahasa Arab. ----------- The effectiveness of using ‘Rotating Roles’ learning technique towards students’ speaking ability. This study is based on the find of seventh graders’ low ability in speaking Arabic in MTs Terpadu Albidayah Cangkorah and the lack motivation of learning speaking. This technique is implemented with aim to know the level of the effectiveness of the students’ speaking Arabic ability. The method was used in this study was the mastery experiment method with ‘non-equivalent control group’ design; and the sample of this study was 30 students. The technique of collection data was test. The results were the last average value of control class was 64,04 whereas the last average value of experimental class was 82,33. It indicated that the last average value of the experimental class which was using learning technique ‘Rotating Roles’ was higher than the class which was not using the technique. According to the result of statistic calculation by using the Shapiro-Wilk, it got a significant value as much as 0,000 which meant 0,000 < 0,05 that ha is accepted and ho is rejected. In addition, the result of gain test of the control and the experimental class were 0,50 and 0,05. The result of this calculation is included to medium criteria, that was 0,7>G>0,3. Therefore, the finding of this study is suggested by the writer for Arabic teachers as an alternative learning of speaking Arabic.
