Abstract

ABSTRAK Jurnal belajar merupakan sarana yang dibutuhkan siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, karena dapat dijadikan alat untuk mencatat materi yang sedang dipelajari, sehingga dapat membantu daya ingat siswa. Keterampilan teknik mencatat terdiri dari teknik mencatat standar/linier, mind map dan catatan tulis susun. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya siswa yang mendapatkan nilai hasil belajar yang rendah pada materi animalia sekalipun memiliki jurnal belajar, sehingga ingin diungkap lebih lanjut tentang teknik mencatat pada jurnal belajar siswa dan kaitannya dengan gaya belajar serta hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode deskriptif, serta menggunakan pengujian independen antara dua faktor, dengan melibatkan 49 siswa kelas X yang dipilih secara random dari salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Bandung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, instrumen berupa rubrik penilaian jurnal belajar (termasuk rubrik teknik mencatat), angket tes gaya belajar, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, didapatkan ketiga jenis teknik mencatat yang digunakan siswa dalam jurnal belajar, yaitu teknik mencatat standar/linier, mind map dan catatan tulis susun. Namun teknik mencatat mind map yang paling banyak ditemukan pada jurnal belajar siswa materi animalia. Teknik mencatat mind map merupakan teknik mencatat yang banyak digunakan pada pembelajaran materi animalia bagi semua gaya belajar siswa, tetapi tidak ada keterkaitan antara suatu jenis teknik mencatat dengan gaya belajar yang dominan dimiliki siswa. Teknik mencatat yang digunakan siswa juga tidak selalu berhubungan dengan nilai belajar yang didapatkan siswa.---------- Learning journal is the means by which it takes students in the execution of learning, because it can be used as a tool to record the lesson being studied, so can help the student's memory. Writing technique consists of technique standard/linear, mind map and write notes stacking. The study was conducted because there are student who get the low value of his exam on animalia lesson though has a learning journal, so want revealed more about the writing technique on student learning journals and relation with learning styles and value from the results of his studies. The research method used is descriptive method, and using independent between two factors testing, by involving 49 students from grade X selected by random from one of the high school in Bandung. Data collection was conducted through documentation study, an instrument in the form of a learning journal assessment rubric (including rubric writing technique), test of learning styles, observation and interviews. The results showed that, these three types of writing technique used in the journal of student learning, that is technique standard/linear, mind map and write notes stacking. But the writing techniques mind map most found in the journal of student learning on animalia lesson. Writing technique mind map is technique that most used on animalia lesson for every students learning style, but there is no link between a type of writing technique and learning style a student. Writing technique used the students also do not always relate with value from the results of his studies.
