Abstract

Membaca merupakan suatu kemampuan yang sangat tergantung pada pemahaman isi. Dalam pembelajaran membaca teks bahasa Arab terlihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa yang kurang dari nilai KKM. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti menggunakan metode PQ4R yang diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks bahasa Arab. Dengan rumusan masalah, bagaimana prestasi belajar membaca pemahaman siswa mengenai teks bahasa Arab sebelum menggunakan metode PQ4R, bagaimana prestasi belajar membaca pemahaman siswa mengenai teks bahasa Arab sesudah menggunakan metode PQ4R dan apakah dalam penggunaan metode PQ4R efektif pada membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian Nonequevalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Lokasi penelitian di MTs. Al-Musyawarah Lembang. Sampel yang peneliti gunakan sampel random sampling pada Siswa kelas VIII D untuk kelas eksperimen dan Siswa kelas VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 48,4783 dan kelas kontrol 49,7826 dengan selisih 1,3043. Dari hasil penelitian nilai rata-rata postest kelas eksperimen 75,2174 dan kelas kontrol 65,6522 dengan selisih 9,5652. Gain pada kelas eksperimen 26,74 dan Gain pada kelas kontrol 15,87. Maka peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode PQ4R lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Pengolahan data menggunakan Uji-t berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,033, karena 0,033 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa metode PQ4R efektif terhadap meningkatkan kemampuan membaca teks bahasa Arab. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, peneliti merekomendasikan menggunakan metode PQ4R dalam pembelajaran membaca.----------Reading is a skill which greatly demand to the content comprehension. In learning of reading arabic text shown by student average score that less than KKM or the minimum completeness criteria. Therefore, researcher use PQ4R Methode which is expected able to help the student for improve the ability of reading arabic text. With problem formulation including how achievement of the learning a student reading comprehension be concern about Arabic text before use PQ4R Methode, how achievement of the learning a student reading comprehension be concern about Arabic text after use PQ4R Methode, and is it true that use PQ4R Methode is efevtive for reading comprehension of Arabic text. The research methode applied is quasi experiment with research design Nonequevalent Control Group Design. The technic of data collection is completed by test. Research location is in MTs. Al-Musyawarah Lembang.The sample that researcher use is by random sampling on student of grade VIII D for experiment class and student of grade VIII E as the control class. According to the research result, average score of experiment class pre test is 48,4783 and for control class is 49,7826 with difference as much 1,3043. According to the research result, average score of experiment class post test is 75,2174 and for control class is 65,6522 with a difference as much 9,5652. The increase of experiment class is 26,74 and the increase of control class is 15,87. Therefore, the increase of experiment class by use PQ4R Methode is higher than the increase of control class. Data processing use Uji-t based on the result of calculation score Sig (2-tailed) 0,033, because 0,033 < 0,05, consequently is Ha is accepted and Ho is refused. Accordingly it is mean that PQ4R Methode is effective to improve the ability of reading Arabic Text. Based on the research result above, researcher recommend to use PQ4R methode in the learning of reading.
