Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) pada mata pelajaran Pengaturan Sistem Refrigerasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Rata-rata N-Gain pada siklus I sebesar 0,48, pada siklus II sebesar 0,60 dan pada siklus III sebesar 0,65. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT ini pun dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa diarahkan sesuai dengan model pembelajaran yang digunakan sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung dengan baik. Pada siklus I aktivitas belajar siswa berada pada kriteria tinggi, pada siklus II berada pada kriteria tinggi dan pada siklus III berada pada kriteria sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklus karena terjadi perbaikan proses belajar pada setiap siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pengaturan Sistem Refrigerasi. This research is aimed to seek the improvement of student study result using cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type on Refrigeration System Setting lesson. It used Class Action Research (CAR) method which consist of three cycles. The result study showed that student study result is improved each cycle. The N-Gain average on cycle I was 0.48, on cycle II was 0.60 and on cycle III was 0.65. The application of cooperative learning model TGT type was able to improve the student study activities. The activities were directed as the learning model used. So, the learning process was done well. At cycle I and II the student study activities were on high criteria. Meanwhile the cycle III on very high criteria. Student study result and student study activities were improved at each cycle because there was learning process improvement at each cycle. According to the result of study, cooperative learning model TGT type was able to improve the student study result and the student study activities on Refrigerationg System Setting lesson.
