    Abstract

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum maksimalnya pengembangan karakter eloklah budi siswa sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah pembelajaran belum mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan sesuai dengan karakteristik lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar, belum terintegrasinya nilai nilai kearifan pada saat proses pembelajaran secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Memperoleh kondisi faktual proses pembelajaran yang selama ini berlangsung di sekolah dasar; 2) desain model pembelajaran berbasis nilai kearifan lokal Perahu Baganduang di sekolah dasar, 3) mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran berbasis nilai kearifan lokal Perahu Baganduang untuk mengembangkan karakter eloklah budi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development yang diadaptasi dari Borg & Gall. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi, lembar observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran berbasis nilai kearifan lokal Perahu Baganduang. Model pembelajaran berbasis nilai kearifan lokal Perahu Baganduang memperkenalkan siswa pada nilai-nilai kearifan local, memberikan penghargaan serta melestarikan budaya dan warisan tradisional masyarakat. Rekomendasi dari peneltian ini, model pembelajaran berbasis nilai kearifan lokal Perahu Baganduang dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran di sekolah dasar yang dapat mengembangkan karakter eloklah budi siswa. ABSTRACT: This research is motivated by the fact that the cultivation of good character in elementary school students in Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, is not yet optimal. One of the reasons is that learning has not yet integrated wisdom values according to the characteristics of the elementary school students' environment, and wisdom values have not been integrated into the learning process contextually. This research aims to: 1) Obtain the factual conditions of the learning process that has been taking place in elementary schools; 2) design a learning model based on the local wisdom values of the Baganduang Boat in elementary schools; and 3) determine the effectiveness of the Baganduang Boat local wisdom value-based learning model in developing good character. The research approach used is research and development, adapted from Borg & Gall. The participants in this study were teachers and fourth-grade elementary school students in the Kuantan Singingi Regency area of Riau Province. The research instruments used are interview guidelines, validation sheets, observation sheets, and questionnaires. The results of this study are a learning model based on the values of local wisdom from the Baganduang Boat. The learning model based on the values of local wisdom from the Baganduang Boat introduces students to local wisdom values, provides appreciation, and preserves the traditional culture and heritage of the community. The recommendation from this research is that the local wisdom-based learning model of the Baganduang Boat can be used as one alternative learning model in elementary schools that can develop students' good character.
