    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada materi membuat dan memodifikasi gambar 3D menggunakan perangkat lunak CAD untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan teknis, dan capaian Standar Kompetensi Lulusan peserta didik kelas XI jurusan Teknik Mekanika Industri di SMK Angkasa Husein Sastranegara Bandung. Kajian teori menegaskan pentingnya penguasaan CAD bagi industri manufaktur dan perlunya pelatihan kompetensi serta relevansi PjBL untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan memunculkan kebaruan penelitian yang terletak pada penerapan PjBL dengan fokus pada integrasi proyek praktis dengan penggunaan perangkat lunak CAD 3D. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain pre-eksperimental one-group pretest–posttest dengan sampel awal 65 peserta didik (analisis pretest–posttest menggunakan 32 data valid), instrumen berupa rubrik penilaian ranah kognitif yang divalidasi melalui expert judgement, serta analisis meliputi statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji wilcoxon Signed-Rank untuk data berpasangan yang tidak normal. Hasil menunjukkan kenaikan rata-rata skor dari pretest 79,28 menjadi posttest 85,38 (kenaikan 6,09 poin), uji wilcoxon signifikan (Z = –4,948; p = 0,000 < 0,05). Dampak penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PjBL yang dipadukan dengan praktik CAD secara signifikan mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik sehingga direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran alternatif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan keterampilan teknis, dengan saran pengembangan modul/jobsheet PjBL terintegrasi CAD, pelatihan lanjutan bagi guru, dan penelitian lanjutan dengan desain kontrol atau intervensi lebih panjang untuk mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang terhadap pencapaian standar kelulusan dan kesiapan kerja. This study aims to implement the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the topic of creating and modifying 3D images using CAD software to improve understanding, technical skills, and the achievement of Graduate Competency Standards of eleventh-grade students in the Industrial Mechanical Engineering Department at SMK Angkasa Husein Sastranegara Bandung. The theoretical review emphasizes the importance of CAD mastery in the manufacturing industry and the necessity of competency training, as well as the relevance of PjBL in enhancing students’ engagement and learning outcomes. The novelty of this study lies in the application of PjBL with a focus on integrating practical projects with the use of 3D CAD software. The method employed was a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design with an initial sample of 65 students (pretest–posttest analysis using 32 valid data sets). The instrument was a kognitive domain assessment rubric validated through expert judgment, and the analysis included descriptive statistics, normality testing, and the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test for non-normally distributed paired data. The results showed an increase in the average score from 79.28 in the pretest to 85.38 in the posttest (an increase of 6.09 points). The Wilcoxon test result was significant (Z = –4.948; p = 0.000 < 0.05). The findings indicate that PjBL combined with CAD practice significantly affects students’ learning outcomes, and thus it is recommended as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance student engagement and technical skills. Suggestions include the development of PjBL-integrated CAD modules/jobsheets, advanced training for teachers, and further research using a control design or longer interventions to evaluate the long-term impact on graduation standards achievement and job readiness.
