Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran peer teaching terhadap peningkatan keterampilan passing dan stopping sepak bola pada siswa ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi-eksperimental dan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 17 siswa yang aktif mengikuti ekstrakurikuler sepak bola. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrumen tes passing dan stopping sepak bola. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai keterampilan passing dan stopping setelah penerapan model pembelajaran peer teaching. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji hipotesis terhadap perbedaan skor pretest dan posttest. Diperoleh nilai t = -8,352 dengan derajat kebebasan (df) = 16 dan nilai signifikansi p < 0,001. Nilai p yang jauh lebih kecil dari batas signifikansi 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara nilai sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model peer teaching. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran peer teaching terbukti efektif secara statistik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan passing dan stopping sepak bola siswa ekstrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi. Kata Kunci: ekstrakurikuler, model pembelajaran, passing, peer teaching, sepak bola, stopping. ; This study aims to determine the effect of the peer teaching learning model on improving passing and stopping skills in football among students participating in extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi. The study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 17 students actively participating in the football extracurricular program. The research instruments used were football passing and stopping skill tests. The results showed a significant improvement in passing and stopping skills after the implementation of the peer teaching model. This was evidenced by the hypothesis test results, which showed a t-value of -8.352 with a degree of freedom (df) = 16 and a significance value of p < 0.001. The p-value, which is far below the significance threshold of 0.05, indicates a highly significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the peer teaching learning model is statistically proven to be effective in enhancing the football passing and stopping skills of students in the football extracurricular program at SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi.
