Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kelengkapan perangkat pembelajaran, penguasaan konsep, motivasi belajar, serta tanggapan siswa kelas XI SMA pada materi sistem respirasi manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar ceklis perangkat pembelajaran, wawancara guru biologi, tes pilihan ganda untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep, angket motivasi belajar, dan angket tanggapan siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 60 siswa kelas XI dan seorang guru biologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan guru telah memenuhi standar Kurikulum 2013 dengan penambahan beberapa komponen dari Kurikulum Merdeka. Tingkat penguasaan konsep siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan distribusi sebagian besar siswa mencapai skor tinggi. Motivasi belajar siswa termasuk tinggi, ditandai dengan adanya ketekunan, minat, serta dorongan kuat untuk mencapai tujuan belajar. Tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran cenderung positif, khususnya pada aspek kejelasan penyampaian materi, keterlibatan dalam diskusi, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Wawancara dengan guru mengonfirmasi bahwa keberhasilan pembelajaran didukung oleh perencanaan perangkat ajar yang baik serta strategi pembelajaran aktif. Kesimpulannya, guru membuat perangkat pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan sebelum pembelajaran meskipun masih berbentuk transisi dari Kurikulum 2013, kemudian mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran. Setelah pembelajaran ditemukan bahwa penguasaan konsep siswa cenderung berada pada taraf tinggi, memiliki motivasi yang baik dalam pembelajaran sistem respirasi manusia, dan pembelajaran sudah memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan bagi siswa berdasarkan respon positif yang mereka berikan. This study aims to identify the completeness of learning instruments, conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and students’ responses in Grade XI senior high school on the topic of the human respiratory system. The research employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The instruments included a checklist for learning devices, an interview with the biology teacher, multiple-choice tests to measure conceptual understanding, a learning motivation questionnaire, and a student response questionnaire. The research subjects consisted of 60 Grade XI students and one biology teacher. The findings revealed that the teacher’s learning instruments complied with the standards of the 2013 Curriculum, with the addition of several components from the Merdeka Curriculum. Students’ conceptual understanding was categorized as high, with the majority achieving high scores. Learning motivation was also high, indicated by persistence, interest, and a strong drive to achieve learning goals. Students’ responses toward the learning process tended to be positive, particularly in aspects of material clarity, engagement in discussions, and the use of learning media. The teacher interview confirmed that successful learning was supported by well-prepared instructional devices and the implementation of active learning strategies. In conclusion, the teacher developed the required learning instruments prior to instruction, although still in a transitional form from the 2013 Curriculum, and implemented them during the teaching process. After the learning activities, it was found that students demonstrated a high level of conceptual understanding, maintained strong motivation in studying the human respiratory system, and experienced an enjoyable learning atmosphere, as reflected in their positive responses.
