Vadila Zikra Rahma, - (2025) PENGEMBANGAN FLIPCARD QR CODE UNTUK MEMBANGUN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA PADA MATERI SIKLUS AIR. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
----------- Elementary students tend to face challenges in understanding the concept of the water cycle, mainly due to the limited use of interactive learning media and the abstract nature of the topic. Meanwhile, Generation Alpha students generally prefer technology-based tools that support active and visual learning. This study aims to develop Flipcard QR Code as a learning medium that integrates printed cards with digital technology through QR codes linked to water cycle materials, animated videos, and interactive quizzes to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. The research employed a Design and Development Type II method, which consists of three main phases: development, usability, and validation. The participants included 18 fifth-grade students, one classroom teacher, and six expert validators (in content, media, and language). Data were collected through interviews, expert validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and pretests and posttests. The validation results indicated that the media was categorized as “Highly Appropriate,” with Aiken’s V scores above 0.85. Feedback from both teachers and students also fell into the “Very Good” category. N-gain analysis showed an average improvement score of 0.72, which is considered “Moderate to High.” Therefore, Flipcard QR Code is considered suitable and effective as an interactive learning media.
