    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Gaya Komunikasi dan Kepemimpinan Visioner Kepala Sekolah terhadap Motivasi dan Kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Regol. Guru merupakan ujung tombak dalam proses pendidikan sehingga motivasi dan kinerja mereka sangat menentukan kualitas pembelajaran. Gaya komunikasi yang baik dan kepemimpinan visioner dari kepala sekolah diyakini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk lingkungan kerja yang positif dan produktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Regol sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proporsional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji determinasi untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial maupun simultan gaya komunikasi dan kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi dan kinerja guru. Gaya komunikasi yang terbuka, jelas, dan mendukung serta kepemimpinan yang memiliki visi, inspiratif dan mampu menggerakkan perubahan, terbukti meningkatkan semangat kerja dan produktivitas guru. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut disarankan agar kepala sekolah terus mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal serta menerapkan kepemimpinan visioner secara konsisten untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan mendorong kinerja guru yang optimal. ---------- This study aims to analyze the Influence of Principals’ Communication Style and Visionary Leadership on Teachers’ Motivation and Performance in Primary Schools in the Regol Subdistrict. Teachers play a crucial role in the success of the learning process and their motivation and performance are key factors in improving educational quality. Effective communication and visionary leadership from school principals are believed to create a positive and productive working environment for teachers.The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of all primary school teachers in the Regol Subdistrict, and samples were selected using proportional random sampling. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using determination test to examine the influence of independent variables on the dependent variables. The results show that both communication style and visionary leadership have a significant positive influence, both partially and simultaneously, on teachers’ motivation and performance. Open, supportive, and clear communication, as well as visionary leadership that is inspiring and change-oriented, significantly contribute to increased teacher enthusiasm and productivity.Based on these findings, it is recommended that school principals continue to develop interpersonal communication skills and consistently apply visionary leadership practices to foster a conducive work environment and optimize teacher performance.
