Abstract
Teachers in inclusive schools often face challenges in conducting initial assessments to identify the diverse characteristics of students, which consequently hinders the development of adaptive curricula and differentiated learning. To address this issue, this study developed SaveEdu, a technology-based curriculum adaptation program designed to facilitate initial assessments and enhance teachers’ pedagogical competence at SDI Al Amanah Bandung. This research employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential exploratory design. Qualitative data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, which served as the foundation for the development of SaveEdu. Expert validation results indicated a feasibility level of 96.2% (categorized as very good). Effectiveness testing using a one-group pretest-posttest design with five inclusive school teachers showed a significant improvement in average scores from 48.2% (pretest) to 96.2% (posttest). These findings demonstrate that SaveEdu is effective in simplifying the process of initial assessment while simultaneously improving teachers’ ability to design adaptive learning in inclusive school settings
