    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh model pembelajaran Treffinger dan Brainwriting berbantuan platform desain grafis terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan eksposisi siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis karangan eksposisi yang terstruktur dan sesuai dengan kaidah kebahasaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN 015 Kresna Kota Bandung, dengan instrumen berupa tes menulis karangan eksposisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan model pembelajaran Brainwriting yang dipadukan dengan platform desain grafis, yaitu Canva mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis secara signifikan. Kedua model memberikan pengaruh positif, namun terdapat perbedaan tingkat efektivitas di antara keduanya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penelitian ini mendorong penerapan model pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan pemanfaatan media visual interaktif sebagai alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa di jenjang sekolah dasar. This study aims to determine the comparative effects of the Treffinger and Brainwriting learning models, assisted by a graphic design platform, on elementary school students' expository writing skills. The background of this study stems from the low ability of students to write structured expository essays that comply with linguistic rules. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent pre-test-post-test control group. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN 015 Kresna Elementary School in Bandung, with the instrument being an expository writing test. The results showed that the implementation of the Treffinger learning model and Brainwriting learning combined with a graphic design platform, specifically Canva, significantly improved writing skills. Both models had a positive impact, but there were differences in their levels of effectiveness. Based on these results, this study encourages the implementation of learning models that integrate creativity, collaboration, and the use of interactive visual media as an innovative alternative to improve students' writing skills at the elementary school level.
