Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan arah tujuan pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Ciparay, Bandung dan Kecamatan Jatibarang, Indramyu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi berupa video rekaman proses pembelajaran PJOK di tempat SMP Negeri sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses pembelajaran PJOK dikedua wilayah menunjukan. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK dilapangan, terdapat temuan bahwa kegiatan belajar cenderung berfokus pada aktivitas fisik semata yang bersifat menggembirakan, tanpa disertai struktur pembelajaran yang sistematis. Kegiatan yang diberikan kepada siswa didominasi oleh permainan atau latihan fisik yang membuat siswa aktif bergerak dan berkeringat, anmun tidak secara eksplisit diarahkan pada pencapaian kompetensi hidup dan penuh semangat, mencerminkan keterlibatan emosional yang positif. Namun, proses pembelajaran ini lebih mengarah pada rekreasi dari pada pendidikan. Dalam konteks ini, guru lebih berperan sebagai fasilitator kegiatan fisik, namun tidak sepenuhnya mengarahkan kegiatan ke dalam kerangka pembelajaran yang bermakna. This study aims to describe the processes and objectives of Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning at public junior high schools in Ciparay District, Bandung and Jatibarang District, Indramayu. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observations and video documentation of PJOK learning activities at four selected schools. The results of the study showed that the PJOK learningprocess in both regions showed. In the implementation of PJOK learning in the field, there were findings that learning activities tended to focus solely on physical activities that were fun, without being accompanied by a systematic learning structure. The activities given to students were dominated by games or physical exercises that made students move actively and sweat, but were not explicitly directed at achieving life competencies and full of enthusiasm, reflecting positive emotional involvement. However, this learning process was more directed at recreation than education. In this context, teachers played a greater role as facilitators of physical activities, but did not fully direct activities into a meaningful learning framework.
