Abstract
Pendidikan karakter merupakan komponen fundamental dalam membangun generasi yang berintegritas dan bermoral. Penelitian ini membahas implementasi pendidikan karakter Baku (Baik dan Kuat) di TK Daarut Tauhiid, yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai ikhlas, jujur, tawadhu, disiplin, berani, dan tangguh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi di TK Daarut Tauhiid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter Baku efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter anak usia dini melalui pembiasaan nilai-nilai positif, kegiatan terstruktur, dan keteladanan dari pendidik. Kesimpulan utama penelitian ini adalah pendidikan karakter Baku yang berbasis nilai lokal dan agama dapat menjadi pendekatan strategis untuk membentuk generasi yang bermoral dan berkepribadian kuat. Rekomendasi bagi sekolah dan pendidik adalah untuk terus memperkuat program pendidikan karakter dengan pendekatan kolaboratif, melibatkan keluarga dan masyarakat guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang konsisten dan mendukung. Character education is a fundamental component in building a generation with integrity and morality. This study discusses the implementation of Baku (‘Baik’ and ‘Kuat’) character education at Daarut Tauhiid Kindergarten, emphasizing values such as sincerity, honesty, humility, discipline, courage, and resilience. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design, incorporating observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis conducted at Daarut Tauhiid Kindergarten. The findings indicate that the Baku character education program effectively fosters positive traits in early childhood through the habituation of positive values, structured activities, and exemplary behaviors from educators. The main conclusion of this research is that Baku character education, rooted in local and religious values, represents a strategic approach to shaping morally upright and strong-minded generations. It is recommended for schools and educators to continue strengthening character education programs using collaborative approaches that engage families and communities to create consistent and supportive learning environments.
