Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya peserta didik fase A yang belum memahami konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila khususnya di lingkungan keluarga. Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara awal, permasalahan ini terjadi karena pembelajaran masih dilaksanakan secara teacher centered tanpa adanya bahan ajar yang dibuat secara khusus sesuai dengan kebutuhan materi dan peserta didik. Materi pembelajaran yang belum dihubungkan dengan kehidupan nyata peserta didik membuat kurang relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas bahan ajar berbasis pendekatan CTL untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila peserta didik fase A Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pre-experimental design tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II yang berjumlah dua puluh lima peserta didik. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan perhitungan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rerata antara hasil pretest dan posttest uji pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Dari hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,786 yang menunjukkan kategori tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis CTL terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi nilai-nilai Pancasila peserta didik fase A Sekolah Dasar. This research is motivated by the fact that many phase A students still do not understand the concept of Pancasila values, especially in the family environment. From the results of initial observations and interviews, this problem occurs because the learning is still conducted in a teacher-centered manner without any teaching materials specifically created to meet the needs of the content and the students. Learning materials that are not connected to the students' real-life experiences make them less relevant. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CTL-based teaching materials in improving the understanding of Pancasila values among phase A elementary school students. This research is a type of quantitative research using a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest type. The sample of this study consists of twenty-five second-grade students. The results obtained based on the calculation of the sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be interpreted that there is a difference in the average between the pretest and posttest results of the students' concept understanding test. From the N-Gain test result of 0.786, which indicates a high level of effectiveness. Therefore, it can be concluded that CTL-based teaching materials are proven to be effective in enhancing the understanding of the concept of Pancasila values among phase A elementary school students.
