Silmi Ireskiani Ainun, - (2025) IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERMUSIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN POLA RITMIK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
---------- This research is motivated by the low musical skills of elementary school students. These skills are important to support the development of students' emotional and psychological intelligence. Musical intelligence can be improved through the introduction of musical elements such as beats and rhythm. The purpose of this study was to improve students' musical skills in learning rhythmic patterns through the Make a Match cooperative learning model and to compare it with the direct learning model. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of the study were fourth grade elementary school students in Bandung Regency. The instruments used included written tests and performance tests based on musical skill indicators, such as identifying, reading/writing, imitating, and making rhythm. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was a significant increase in students' musical skills after using the Make a Match model (Wilcoxon test significance value 0.001 <0.05), and (2) there was a significant difference in improvement between students who learned with the Make a Match model compared to the direct model (Mann-Whitney test significance value 0.001 <0.05). It can be concluded that the Make a Match model is effective in improving students' musical skills and can be an alternative in arts learning in elementary schools.
