Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan penyajian, implementasi, dan tingkat kesesuaian muatan konsep esensial geografi dengan tujuan pembelajaran pada buku teks Kurikulum 2006, 2013, dan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods menggunakan desain tipe exploratory. Objek penelitian ini adalah buku teks pelajaran geografi Kelas X dari Kurikulum 2006, 2013, dan Kurikulum Merdeka, serta subjek penelitian melibatkan guru kelas X SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian melalui studi dokumentasi dan pengisian angket oleh guru. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari aspek penyajian materi konsep esensial geografi pada buku teks Kurikulum 2013 lebih unggul dibandingkan buku teks dari dua kurikulum lainya, terutama dalam hal penggunaan ilustrasi. Dari aspek sebaran muatan konsep esensial geografi, buku teks Kurikulum 2006 memiliki persentase paling besar yaitu 25,3%, diikuti buku teks Kurikulum Merdeka dengan persentase sebesar 18,4%, dan Kurikulum 2013 sebesar 15,1% dengan muatan konsep nilai kegunaan mendominasi pada ketiga buku tersebut. Selanjutnya dari aspek kesesuaian muatan konsep esensial geografi dengan tujuan pembelajaran dengan kriteria sesuai diperoleh buku teks geografi Kurikulum 2006 dengan skor sebesar 62,6%, diikuti oleh Kurikulum 2013 sebesar 60,7%, kemudian Kurikulum Merdeka pada kriteria cukup sesuai dengan skor 51,9%. Secara keseluruhan ketiga buku teks geografi telah memenuhi standar penyajian konsep esensial geografi dengan pendekatan yang berbeda- beda. This study aims to analyze the differences in presentation, implementation, and alignment of essential geography concepts with learning objectives in textbooks from the 2006 Curriculum, the 2013 Curriculum, and the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method employed is a mixed-methods approach using an exploratory design. The objects of this research are geography textbooks for Grade X from the 2006 Curriculum, the 2013 Curriculum, and the Merdeka Curriculum, while the subjects include Grade X high school teachers. Data collection techniques involved document analysis and questionnaires completed by teachers. The findings indicate that in terms of presenting the essential geography concept, textbooks from the 2013 Curriculum are superior to those from the other two curricula, especially regarding the use of illustrations. From the aspect of the distribution of essential geographic concepts, the textbook for the 2006 Curriculum has the highest percentage at 25.3%, followed by the Merdeka Curriculum textbook with 18.4%, and the 2013 Curriculum textbook with 15.1%, with the concept of utility value dominating in all three textbooks. Furthermore, in terms of the alignment of essential geographic concepts with learning objectives, based on the "aligned" criterion, the 2006 Curriculum geography textbook scored 62.6%, followed by the 2013 Curriculum textbook at 60.7%, and the Merdeka Curriculum textbook under the "fairly aligned" criterion with a score of 51.9%. Overall, the three geography textbooks have met the standards for presenting essential geography concepts with different approaches.
