Abstract

ABSTRAK Tidak sedikit pemelajar mengalami kesulitan saat menguasai kosakata. Flashcard dapat digunakan untuk membantu pemelajar menguasai kosakata bahasa Korea. Penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan kosakata pemelajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan flashcard, serta tanggapan mengenai media tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pre-experimantal dengan one group pretest-posttest yang dilakukan pada 19 pemelajar Prolifes Bahasa Korea B SMA BPI 1 Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada penguasaan kosakata pemelajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mean pre-test yang semula 42,7 dengan kategori gagal meningkat menjadi 76,9 dengan kategori baik pada post-test. Kemudian, dilakukanlah hasil uji normalitas pre-test dan post-test. Pada pre-test, data menunjukkan terdistribusi dengan normal dengan hasil 0,078. Namun, pada post-test data menunjukkan tidak terdistribusi dengan normal dengan hasil 0,008, sehingga dilakukanlah uji Wilcoxon dengan hasil <0,001 < 0,05 yang diartikan sebagai Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini pun didukung dengan pendapat pemelajar yang memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran flashcard. Namun, terdapat respon negatif ketika pemelajar diberikan pertanyaan seputar kesulitan menggunakan flashcard. Beberapa kesulitan yang disebutkan oleh para pemelajar adalah (1) kurangnya contoh yang diberikan oleh pengajar; (2) gambar yang terlalu kecil; (3) jumlah flashcard yang terbatas; (4) materi pembelajaran yang terlalu banyak; dan (5) alokasi waktu yang terbatas untuk menghafalkan kosakata. Manfaat penelitian ini flashcard dapat menjadi bagian dari media pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Korea, membantu pengajar menyampaikan materi, membantu pemelajar menguasai kosakata bahasa Korea, dan menjadi bekal bagi penelitian selanjutnya. Many learners have difficulty in mastering vocabulary. Flashcards can be used to help in mastering Korean vocabulary. This study aims to find out the improvement of learners' vocabulary mastery before and after using flashcards, and the students’ responses. The method used was quantitative pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest conducted on 19 learners of Korean Language Profiles B SMA BPI 1 Bandung. There was a significant improvement in the learners' vocabulary mastery. The results also showed that the mean pre-test which was 42.7 increased to 76.9 in the post-test. The results of the normality test were conducted. In the pre-test, the data showed normally distributed. However, in the post-test the data showed it was not normally distributed, so the Wilcoxon test was carried out with a result of <0.001 <0.05 which is interpreted as Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The results of this study were also supported by the learners' opinions who gave positive responses to the use of flashcard learning media. However, there was a negative response when the learners were asked questions about the difficulty of using flashcards. Some of the difficulties mentioned by the students were (1) lack of examples given by the teacher; (2) too-small pictures; (3) limited number of flashcards; (4) too much learning materials; and (5) limited time allocation to memorize the words. The benefits of this research, flashcards can be part of Korean vocabulary learning media, help teachers deliver material, help mastering Korean vocabulary, and become a provision for further research. 본 연구는 많은 학습자가 어휘 습득에 어려움을 겪고 있음을 바탕으로 실시하였다. 플래시카드는 한국어 어휘를 효과적으로 익히는 데 사용할 수 있는 유용한 도구이다. 본 연구는 플래시카드 사용 전후 학습자의 어휘 능력 향상을 조사하는데 목적으로 한다. 연구 방법으로는 반둥에 위치한 SMA BPI 1 학교의 한국어 수업을 듣는 19명의 학습자를 대상으로 사전 테스트와 사후 테스트를 실시한 정량적 사전 실험을 사용했다. 연구 결과, 학습자들의 어휘 능력이 크게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 사전 테스트에서 학습자들의 평균 점수는 42.7점으로 낮았으나, 사후 테스트에서는 76.9점으로 증가하여 더 높은 성과를 보였다.또한, 사전 테스트와 사후 테스트의 정규성 검정을 실시한 결과, 사전 테스트 데이터는 0.078로 정규 분포를 보였으나, 사후 테스트 데이터는 0.008로 정규 분포를 따르지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 윌콕슨 검정을 수행한 결과, p값이 <0.001로 0.05보다 작아 유의미한 차이를 확인할 수 있었으며, 이는 연구 가설(Ha)을 지지하고 귀무 가설(H0)을 기각하는 결과로 해석된다.본 연구 결과는 플래시카드를 사용한 학습에 대한 학습자들의 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 하지만 일부 학습자는 플래시카드 사용에 어려움을 느꼈다고 답했으며, 하지만 일부 학습자는 플래시카드 사용에 어려움을 느꼈다고 답했으며, 어려운 점으로는 (1) 선생님이 제시한 예시 부족, (2) 너무 작은 그림, (3) 제한된 플래시카드 수, (4) 너무 많은 학습 자료, (5) 단어 암기에 할당된 시간 제한 등이 있었습니다. 본 연구의 의의는 플래시카드가 한국어 어휘 학습에 유용한 도구가 될 수 있으며, 교사가 학습 자료를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있도록 도울 뿐만 아니라, 학습자의 어휘 습득에 기여할 수 있음을 보여준다. 또한, 본 연구는 향후 추가 연구를 위한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
